Travis Kelce Rumors on Talks with TV Networks, Netflix amid NFL Retirement Buzz
Amid the possibility that he may retire, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is in discussions with multiple streaming services (including Netflix) and every major network, although that has been the case for "the past several years," per an exclusive source to Anna Lazarus Caplan and Sarah Jones of People Magazine.
"Travis has been in discussions with every major streaming service, including Netflix, and every major network for the past several years," the source said. "And that is not affecting his decision whether or not he is returning to football because those discussions have been happening for the past several years."

Kelce spoke about where his mindset is right now on the Jan. 7 edition of the New Heights podcast.
"I've talked to a few people in the facility already, having the exit meetings and everything, and they know where I stand at least right now," Kelce said, per Robby Kalland of CBS Sports. "I think there's a lotta love for the game that's still there and I don't think I'll ever lose that. It's a tough thing to navigate, but at the same time, if my body can heal up and rest up and I can feel confident that I can go out there and give it another 18, 20, 21-week run, I think I would do it in a heartbeat. Right now it's just finding that answer and seeing how the body feels after this game and kinda when it all settles down."
Kelce is an 11-time Pro Bowler and four-time All-Pro who has amassed 1,080 receptions, 13,002 catches and 82 receiving touchdowns over his decorated 13-year career.
The former Cincinnati star is a member of the Hall of Fame All-2010s Team, and he's destined for a place in Canton, Ohio, someday as a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
The 36-year-old can also still contribute, as evidenced by his 76 catches for 851 yards and five touchdowns last season. He isn't amassing 1,000 yards per season as he did from 2016-2022, but Kelce still fares well compared to his peers. He ranked tied for sixth in receptions and fourth in receiving yards among all tight ends last season.
Last year was a tough one for the Chiefs, who lost nine games by one possession en route to a 6-11 season. They most notably lost superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes to a season-ending torn ACL on Dec. 14 during a 16-13 loss against the Los Angeles Chargers. The offense struggled mightily without him and even had some struggles with him despite his success, finishing 21st overall in points.
Bringing Kelce back would be a plus, and based on his "New Heights" comments, it actually seems like he'd be up for another year. However, it's also clear he wants to take some time and think about it.
If he does decide to hang up the cleats, though, Kelce should have a television career waiting for him, a la his brother Jason, his podcast co-star and former Philadelphia Eagles center who is now serving as an analyst for ESPN's NFL broadcasts.
