Ravens Rumors on Klint Kubiak, Anthony Weaver, HC Targets After John Harbaugh Firing
The Baltimore Ravens reportedly have potential candidates for their next head coach lined up the day after firing John Harbaugh.
The Ravens have requested interviews with Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak and Miami Dolphins defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver, NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reported Wednesday.
Baltimore is seeking a replacement for Harbaugh, who coached the team for 18 seasons before he was fired Tuesday following the Ravens' elimination from playoff contention.

Kubiak is seemingly becoming one of the most popular early candidates in the 2026 head coaching cycle after helping the Seahawks rank first in the NFL in point differential this season.
Behind a second straight Pro Bowl campaign from Sam Darnold, Kubiak's offense ranked third in points and fourth in total offensive yards this regular season.
Prior to the Ravens' ask, Kubiak had reportedly received interview requests from the Las Vegas Raiders, Atlanta Falcons, Arizona Cardinals and New York Giants.
Weaver has also reportedly received interview requests from the Cardinals and Falcons, per ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.
He received head coaching buzz last offseason after helping the Dolphins' defense rank fourth in total yards allowed during his first season with the program in 2024.
This season, however, Weaver was unable to replicate that effort as the Dolphins' defense finished the season ranked 22nd in yards allowed.
Weaver has past experience with the Ravens, where he coached the defensive line from 2021 to 2023. He also played four seasons for the Ravens as a defensive end from 2002 to 2005.
The Ravens are one of seven teams with head coaching vacancies in the current cycle. There could ultimately be other openings, especially given that the Miami Dolphins are reportedly considering moving on from Mike McDaniel.
Unlike many other head coaching opportunities, which come alongside quarterback uncertainty heading into 2026, whichever candidate takes over as Harbaugh's successor will get the chance to work with Lamar Jackson as Baltimore looks to climb back into the playoff picture next season.
