Updated Raiders Rumors on Klint Kubiak, HC Search After Firing Pete Carroll, Landing No. 1 Pick
The Las Vegas Raiders are one of two teams left that need to fill a head coaching vacancy and reportedly are negotiating with Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak after they met on Sunday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport previously reported that Kubiak would interview with the Raiders and Arizona Cardinals this weekend about their vacancies.

Schefter reported on Thursday that Denver Broncos passing game coordinator Davis Webb withdrew from consideration for the job after also interviewing with the Buffalo Bills and Baltimore Ravens.
Schefter previously reported that the Raiders interviewed former New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll.
The Raiders completed their second interview with Ejiro Evero on Jan. 20, per Schefter.
Schefter also reported on Jan. 19 that the Raiders requested an interview with San Francisco 49ers offensive coordinator Klay Kubiak.
Jeremy Fowler of ESPN originally reported that "one team source believes offensive-minded candidates will get serious consideration" as the Raiders' next head coach.
Las Vegas was one of four teams that finished the season with a 3-14 record, but the franchise secured the top pick thanks to its lower strength of schedule in 2025.
This marks the first time since 2007 the Raiders have held the top pick in the draft. The franchise used that pick to draft quarterback JaMarcus Russell out of LSU.
The Raiders could once again target a quarterback after Geno Smith, a trade-and-sign acquisition from the Seattle Seahawks last offseason, led the NFL with 17 interceptions in 15 games of his first campaign with Las Vegas.
Smith is signed for two more seasons thanks to the extension he inked with Las Vegas last April. He is owed $18.5 million in guaranteed salary next season, per Spotrac. The Raiders also have quarterback Aidan O'Connell under contract for next season.
The Raiders were also reportedly linked to former Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Matt Nagy and Denver Broncos assistant Vance Joseph.
Kubiak's success with Sam Darnold this season has clearly played a role in Las Vegas' interest.
