John Harbaugh Reportedly Linked to Dolphins HC Job Amid Mike McDaniel Rumors
The Miami Dolphins may be joining the list of teams interested in hiring former Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh.
NFL insider Josina Anderson reported Wednesday the Dolphins "have been in touch on" Harbaugh.
According to Anderson, Ravens offensive coordinator Todd Monken "could have a path to still be Harbaugh's OC" should the head coach land in Miami.

The Dolphins are still currently coached by Mike McDaniel, who told reporters Monday he expects to be part of his team's search for a new general manager.
The Ravens fired Harbaugh after 18 seasons, days after Baltimore missed the playoffs with a Week 18 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that Harbaugh's agent, Bryan Harlan, said he had received calls from seven NFL teams shortly after his client's dismissal.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport recently reported McDaniel "is expected to be back" with the Dolphins in 2026.
When asked about the report on Monday, McDaniel answered, "My understanding is, I'm the coach of the Miami Dolphins until told otherwise."
The question will now be whether that will change now that Harbaugh, who has a Super Bowl win and a .614 regular-season career win percentage to his name, has hit the coaching market.
The Dolphins parted ways with former general manager Chris Grier after a 2-7 start to the 2025 season, but kept McDaniel in place.
McDaniel later made a major change by benching starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa ahead of Week 16.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reported at the time the Dolphins were "prepared to move on" from Tagovailoa over the offseason.
When asked after the Dolphins closed out their 7-10 season with a Week 18 loss to the New England Patriots if he would be open to a "fresh start" on a different team, Tagovailoa told reporters including the Miami Herald's Barry Jackson: "That would be dope. I would be good with it."
The Dolphins could potentially be considering looking for a fresh start of their own by bringing in a new head coach, alongside a new general manager and potentially a new quarterback, in 2026.
Miami won't be the only team interested in Harbaugh. The New York Giants, Las Vegas Raiders, Atlanta Falcons, Cleveland Browns, Arizona Cardinals and Tennessee Titans all have job openings heading into the offseason, and all could potentially be interested in bringing in a head coach as experienced as Harbaugh for 2026.
