Packers' Micah Parsons Posts Rehab Videos After Surgery on Knee Injury
Green Bay Packers star Micah Parsons is starting rehab just one week after undergoing surgery on a torn ACL in his left knee.
Parsons shared videos on his Instagram story of himself working out with a bandaged knee at the Packers' facility with trainers Bryan Engel and Nate Weir (h/t The Athletic's Matt Schneidman).
Parsons initially suffered his season-ending knee injury on Dec. 14 during a Week 15 loss at the Denver Broncos.
He underwent surgery on Dec. 30 in Los Angeles, according to ESPN's Rob Demovsky.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported in December that Parsons had suffered a "clean" tear with an expected nine-month recovery timeline.
That could put Parson's estimated return date around Week 5 the 2026 NFL season.
Parsons has previously indicated he hopes to get on the field by September. His successful surgery and start of rehab are the first step toward that goal.
Getting Parsons healthy will be key to the Packers' hopes of contending next season. His 12.5 sacks in 14 games of the 2025 campaign played a role in helping Green Bay make a third straight playoff appearance this winter.
