Todd Bowles Says He's 'Earned the Chance' to Remain Bucs HC amid Hot Seat Rumors
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers' five-year playoff streak and four-year division title streak came to an end on Sunday, but Todd Bowles believes he still deserves to remain the team's head coach.
Bowles, who took over in 2022, said he has "earned the chance" to coach Tampa Bay.
"All I can do is coach and be myself. I've earned the chance," Bowles told reporters on Monday. "I won three straight division titles. So that says a lot, as far as I'm concerned."

Bowles added that he "can't worry" about other NFL coaches after several were fired on Monday.
"I just (am) thankful that I wake up every morning and I have a chance to go to work, so I can't worry about other (NFL) coaches or what they do," Bowles said. "I just know what my job is and what I try to do."
The Bucs finished the season 8-9, tied for their worst finish under Bowles. They were in the playoff mix until Sunday, when an Atlanta Falcons win over the New Orleans Saints sealed their fate.
While it was a disappointing season, Tampa Bay also managed various injuries throughout the year, and that was certainly a reason for its struggles.
Bowles said Monday that he is set to meet with the Buccaneers ownership this week, so it seems he could get some clarity about his future in the coming days.
