Caitlin Clark Reveals Her Fantasy Football League's Last Place Punishment in Video
Caitlin Clark participated in a fantasy football league this season that had some unique punishments for the person who finished in last place.
Appearing on the New Heights podcast (starts at 26:30 mark), Clark revealed the punishments in her fantasy football league included a "17-hour bus ride" with no entertainment (e.g. phones, music, computers, etc.) for the entire trip, do a stand-up comedy set, take the IHOP pancake challenge or pay a certain amount of money to avoid having to do any of these tasks.

The no in-flight/on-bus entertainment has become a popular internet trend in recent years. Manchester City star Erling Haaland even got in on it in 2024 when he celebrated a seven-hour trip with no phone, no sleep, no food and no water.
Anyone who has been to an open-mic night at a comedy club can attest to how torturous it is to watch someone else do bad stand-up, so having to try it yourself is a special type of punishment.
Clark didn't specify if the IHOP challenge is the same one based on the internet trend where a fantasy football loser has to stay in an IHOP—or equivalent establishment—for 24 hours, except they can reduce their required time for every pancake they eat.
If that is the punishment, it doesn't sound that bad. Granted, you have to really like pancakes to make it not an arduous task. But at least you can get some food in your system instead of just staring at nothing on a plane or bus.
Clark pointed out she didn't finish in last place in her league, so she was able to avoid having to go through any of these tasks. The 23-year-old recently took part in a three-day training camp with USA Basketball going into the FIBA World Cup next year.
