The release date is significant, as the NFL has honored the late Madden's legacy during its Thanksgiving slate for four consecutive years.
Amazon MGM studios previously confirmed that the movie will focus on Madden's career in the booth and on the sidelines.
"The film follows Madden's remarkable journey—from his Super Bowl-winning partnership with Al Davis and the Raiders, to creating Madden NFL, and becoming one of the most iconic voices in football history," the studio announced in May.
The movie is directed by David O. Russell and also stars Christian Bale, John Mulaney, Kathryn Hahn and Sienna Miller.
Madden coached the Las Vegas Raiders during their lengthy tenure in Oakland, amassing a 103-32-7 record across 10 seasons. The Raiders won Super Bowl XI with him in 1977.
Madden went on to work as a broadcaster from 1979-2009 while also influencing the creation of the iconic EA Sports series of football video games bearing his last name.
