'The Pain and the Reality,' Packers' Micah Parsons Talks Knee Injury Recovery, Rehab
Nearly two weeks after his 2025 season ended due to a torn ACL, Green Bay Packers star Micah Parsons has opened about his rehab and recovery process.
In a post on X, Parsons wrote about "the pain and the reality of this journey" as he works toward his comeback.

Parsons suffered the injury on a non-contact play in Green Bay's 34-26 loss to the Denver Broncos on Dec. 14.
An MRI confirmed Parsons tore his ACL, marking the first major injury of his NFL career. His only other injury of note was a sprained ankle that kept him out for four weeks early in the 2024 season.
When the ACL injury was announced, Parsons called it his "greatest test" and vowed to "rise again."
The timing of the injury does raise questions about Parsons' availability for the start of next season. ESPN's Rob Demovsky compared his recovery timeline to Packers wide receiver Christian Watson, who tore his ACL in Week 18 last season.
Watson missed the first six games this season before returning in Week 8. Demovsky suggested Parsons could miss the first three games in 2026 if he follows a similar timeline.
Parsons was in the midst of arguably the best season of his stellar career prior to the injury. The five-time Pro Bowler leads the Packers in quarterback hits (26), tackles for loss (12) and sacks (12.5) in 14 games.
Green Bay lost its first full game without Parsons against the Chicago Bears on Dec. 20. The Packers are on the brink of clinching a playoff berth, with either one win or a Detroit Lions loss in the final two weeks.
