Deion, Shedeur Sanders Conversation Before Browns vs. Bills Revealed on Video

Shedeur Sanders made his fifth start for the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, and he got some motivation from his father and former coach beforehand.

Ahead of the Browns' matchup against the Buffalo Bills, Deion Sanders met with his son on the field, giving him some advice and telling him to "dominate" (2:55 mark).

Cleveland ultimately came up short, losing 23-20, and it wasn't exactly the best game of Sanders' career. The rookie quarterback threw for 157 yards, a touchdown and a pair of interceptions on 20-of-29 passing, and he also had to exit briefly because of a gruesome pinky injury.

Sanders has had an up-and-down start to his rookie season. Through six games, he's thrown for 1,103 yards, six touchdowns and eight interceptions. Two weeks ago, he put together an outstanding performance with 364 yards and three touchdowns, but his last two outings have been a bit shaky.

Inconsistency is to be expected from a rookie quarterback, especially one who was thrust into a starting role in the middle of the season. The former Colorado star has shown flashes of potential early on, and he'll look to use the next two games to get comfortable before getting better over the offseason.
