Gunther Drops 1st Promo Since Making John Cena Tap Out in WWE Retirement Match

After making John Cena tap out in his retirement match, Gunther came out swinging during Monday's episode of Raw.

Gunther greeted a crowd that responded with boos, and he proceeded to remind fans of how his match against Cena went on Saturday.

"I did what I said I would do," Gunther said. "I made John Cena give up. And when he gave up, he tapped out like a little b---h."

After taking on some more boos from the audience, Gunther continued by saying that it's now his time.

"I made John Cena tap out like a little b---h," he said. "It is my time now. I will forever be the man that made John Cena give up."

But Adam Pearce didn't allowed Gunther to disrespect a legend such as Cena. He escorted Gunther out of the arena after his speech.

"Doing that, Gunther, does not make you the ring general," Pearce said. "It makes you an asshole... You're done for the night. Find the exit."

Gunther's antics didn't end after he left the arena, as he had a stare down with AJ Styles in the parking lot before hitting Cena's signature on his way out.

Gunther has clearly ruffled the feathers of the WWE community, from the fans to the wrestlers, so what comes next for him will be interesting to see.
