The coloring is similar to the uniforms that the team wore at the beginning of its stint in Milwaukee, including the 1982 season in which it made a World Series appearance.
The design of the uniforms references the era of franchise icons such as Robin Yount, Paul Molitor and Rollie Fingers.
"We want this jersey to represent the Milwaukee aesthetic – vibrant, historic and full of character, while also serving as a bridge to the past and present eras of Brewers baseball," Brewers president of business operations Rick Schlesinger said, per CBS News.
Milwaukee's alternates also include the city's name on the chest in navy blue lettering with a yellow outline. A patch featuring an image of the state of Wisconsin is on the sleeve of each uniform.
The Brewers have utilized powder blue alternate uniforms in the past, doing so with their 2022 City Connect jerseys.
Milwaukee is coming off an impressive 2025 campaign, compiling the best record in the majors by finishing at 97-65. The Brewers particularly excelled in the second half of the year, highlighted by a franchise-record 14-game win streak.
Now, Milwaukee will be attempting to go on an even deeper postseason run in 2026 after getting swept by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the National League Championship Series.
