Biggest Sleepers at Every Position for Week 14 Fantasy Football 2025
It's a crucial time for fantasy football managers entering the final week of the regular season in their leagues.
Rising star quarterback Drake Maye, All-Pro tight end George Kittle and sensational rookie wideout Tetairoa McMillan are on a bye week. Who's going to fill those voids?
Though it's a risky approach, you can rely on a couple of rookie quarterbacks to help get you into the playoffs or lock up a first-round bye. Both could post gaudy numbers against struggling pass defenses.
Don't wait until Sunday to start racking up fantasy points. A rookie wide receiver may see more targets in Thursday's prime-time game, which features two high-powered offenses.
A couple of running backs who aren't flashy have a nose for the end zone. Both are available in more than 70 percent of leagues.
Lastly, two tight ends who recently returned from injured reserve have been and will be key targets in their respective team's passing attack.
Check out our biggest sleeper options who are available in more than 50 percent of leagues, according to FantasyPros' roster consensus percentages. We also listed DraftKings' daily fantasy sports price for each player.
QB Shedeur Sanders vs. Tennessee Titans (10 Percent Rostered)
1 of 8.jpg)
Shedeur Sanders draws a favorable matchup against the Tennessee Titans, who rank 19th in passing yards allowed and give up the 11th-most fantasy points to quarterbacks.
Amani Hooker, Darrell Baker Jr. and rookie Kevin Winston Jr., three of the Titans' starters in the secondary, allow passer ratings above 101 out of a possible 158.3 in coverage. The trio has surrendered seven passing touchdowns combined this season.
Sanders should look his best against Tennessee's porous secondary. He's thrown more passes and improved his completion rate in every appearance since taking over for Dillon Gabriel midway through the Cleveland Browns' Week 11 matchup with the Baltimore Ravens.
If Sanders wants to prove he's a starting-caliber quarterback after falling to the fifth round in this year's draft, this is the spot for him to shine at home while in opposition to No. 1 overall pick Cam Ward.
QB Tyler Shough at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (8 Percent Rostered)
2 of 8.jpg)
New Orleans Saints head coach Kellen Moore will evaluate rookie second-rounder Tyler Shough for the future, as the team gets closer to a top-five 2026 draft pick. In the meantime, he's allowed the signal-caller to throw the ball at a high volume.
In five games, the 26-year-old is averaging 32.4 pass attempts, and the Saints haven't needed to abandon the run game early because of game script. In their last three outings, they've been competitive.
More importantly, from a fantasy perspective, Shough completed at least 68 percent of his passes and threw for at least 239 yards in each of his last three starts. He threw for four touchdowns and two interceptions in that span.
The Louisville product will face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who are tied for third in fantasy points allowed to quarterbacks and give up the fourth-most passing yards per game. Don't be surprised if he throws for 300 or more yards on Sunday.
Last week, Shough finished as QB12. He has top-10 potential in a promising Week 14 matchup.
RB Bam Knight vs. Los Angeles Rams (31 Percent Rostered)
3 of 8.jpg)
Managers should keep in mind that running back Trey Benson could return to action in any given week, since the Arizona Cardinals designated him for return from injured reserve.
That said, the 23-year-old missed the first practice of the week, which may indicate that Bam Knight will continue to lead the Cardinals' ground attack.
Despite the rotation of running backs in Arizona's backfield, Knight established some consistency over the previous two months. Since Week 6, he's logged double-digit touches in six out of seven contests. In three consecutive outings, the 24-year-old has caught at least three passes and scored a touchdown, finishing as a top-18 running back in point-per-reception leagues each week.
Knight will go against the Los Angeles Rams defense, which allows the fewest rushing touchdowns and the third-fewest fantasy points to running backs, but last week, that same unit gave up 203 yards and a score to Carolina Panthers tailbacks Chuba Hubbard and Rico Dowdle.
Even in a tough matchup, Knight can fill an RB2 role in fantasy lineups because of his prominent rushing workload and involvement in the short passing game.
RB Chris Rodriguez Jr. at Minnesota Vikings (27 Percent Rostered)
4 of 8.jpg)
Rookie seventh-rounder Jacory Croskey-Merritt generated buzz in the offseason, but Chris Rodriguez Jr. has emerged as the Washington Commanders' lead ball-carrier over the last few weeks.
Rodriguez logged double-digit carries in three of the Commanders' four November games, while Croskey-Merritt has seen a decline in rush attempts.
In a close contest with the Denver Broncos, Rodriguez recorded 11 carries for 41 yards and a touchdown. Croskey-Merritt finished with just four carries for 20 yards.
Assuming Rodriguez maintains the lead role out of Washington's backfield, he'll have room to run against the Minnesota Vikings' 23rd-ranked run defense, which has surrendered a rushing touchdown in six consecutive contests, seven in total during that span.
This season, Rodriguez has handled 52 percent of Washington's rush attempts inside the opponent's 10-yard line. If the Commanders are within striking distance of a score, expect him to plunge into the end zone at least once in addition to 40-50 rushing yards on Sunday.
WR Isaac TeSlaa vs. Dallas Cowboys (3 Percent Rostered)
5 of 8.jpg)
You can get an early lead in your fantasy matchup with Isaac TeSlaa in lineups. The Detroit Lions have ruled out Kalif Raymond for Thursday's game, and star wideout Amon-Ra St. Brown is questionable because of an ankle injury.
Even if St. Brown plays, he may be limited with a sprained ankle. Without him, TeSlaa would likely take on a significant role in the Lions' aerial attack.
Brown went down with the injury early last week in the first game on Thanksgiving. TeSlaa took the field for a season-high 92 percent of the offensive snaps after playing fewer than 47 percent of the snaps in the first 11 games. He hauled in both of his targets for 35 yards and a touchdown.
As a third-round pick from this year's draft, TeSlaa seemed primed for an increased role sooner rather than later. Because of injuries at his position and a favorable matchup against the Dallas Cowboys' 30th-ranked pass defense, Detroit may get a good look at the 6'4", 214-pound rookie wideout.
The Cowboys allow the most fantasy points to wide receivers, and they've surrendered the most passing touchdowns through Week 13. Regardless of St. Brown's status, TeSlaa is a priority sleeper option with boom potential.
WR Devaughn Vele at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2 Percent Rostered)
6 of 8.jpg)
In Week 12, Devaughn Vele made our sleepers list, and in his last outing, he racked up a career-high 93 receiving yards. One step early for his breakout, let's circle back to him for a sleeper stack with quarterback Tyler Shough.
Since the New Orleans Saints traded Rashid Shaheed and released Brandin Cooks, Vele has established himself as the team's No. 2 receiver. Over the previous two weeks, he's seen 15 targets.
Following an efficient outing in which Vele established a rapport with Shough, he's a high-end sleeper option in a plus matchup. Not only do the Tampa Bay Buccaneers give up the fourth-most passing yards, but they also allow the 11th-most fantasy points to wideouts.
Without a clear No. 3 receiver to cut into Vele's target share, he's in the conversation among fantasy WR2s despite his low roster percentage.
TE Brenton Strange vs. Indianapolis Colts (30 Percent Rostered)
7 of 8.jpg)
Since Brenton Strange's Week 12 return from injured reserve, he's been a consistent contributor in the Jacksonville Jaguars' passing attack, hauling in eight out of nine targets for 138 yards and a touchdown.
Wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr.'s return from injury didn't negatively impact Strange's role. The third-year tight end still saw the second-most targets (four) in a blowout victory over the Tennessee Titans.
Jacksonville won't have the luxury of cruising to a victory with the ground game in a high-stakes divisional battle with the Indianapolis Colts for first place in the AFC South. So, Strange should see a decent number of targets in a competitive contest.
Furthermore, the Colts allow the fourth-most fantasy points to tight ends. Indianapolis' 27th-ranked pass defense has given up 602 yards over the last two weeks. Strange will have opportunities to exploit that unit's weak spots.
TE Darren Waller at New York Jets (28 Percent Rostered)
8 of 8.jpg)
In case you haven't heard or missed the must-watch game between the New Orleans Saints and Miami Dolphins last week, Darren Waller is back in action.
Last Saturday, Miami activated the 33-year-old from injured reserve, and he caught two passes for 47 yards in a win over the Saints.
With another week of practice, Waller should be more productive against the New York Jets. Remember, he made his season debut against Gang Green in Week 4, catching three passes for 27 yards and two touchdowns.
Though his receiving yard totals aren't impressive, he's a strong red-zone threat. He scored four touchdowns in his first three games with the Dolphins.
Going against the Jets' 27th-ranked pass defense, Waller will continue to play a key role in the Dolphins' red-zone offense. He's touchdown-dependent, but in weeks against porous pass defenses, he is an intriguing start for managers in need of a boost at the TE1 spot.
