Eagles OC Kevin Patullo Responds to House Being Vandalized After Bears Loss
Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo spoke out after his house was vandalized following the team's 24-15 loss to the Chicago Bears.
Speaking to reporters on Wednesday, Patullo explained he can handle criticisms of his job, but it "obviously crosses the line" when the safety of his family gets involved:
"We all know that part of our job is to handle criticism, and so it's perfectly acceptable to sit up here and talk about what's going on, how to fix it, what we're going to do going forward, and we know that. But when it involves your family, it obviously crosses the line."

The Moorestown Police Department announced on Saturday that Patullo's home in New Jersey had been vandalized with eggs.
Video on social media appeared to show multiple people standing outside the house and throwing eggs at it. The incident was believed to have occurred overnight after the Eagles lost to the Bears on Black Friday.
Patullo has been on Philadelphia's staff since 2021 when he was hired by head coach Nick Sirianni. The 44-year-old began his tenure as the passing game coordinator and added the title of associate head coach in 2023.
After Kellen Moore left the Eagles to take the head coaching job with the New Orleans Saints in the offseason, Patullo was promoted to offensive coordinator.
Philadelphia's offense has been among the most scrutinized units in the NFL this season. The defending Super Bowl champs currently rank 19th in points per game, 23rd in total yards per game and 22nd in rushing yards per game.
During their Super Bowl season in 2024, the Eagles ranked seventh in points, eighth in total yards and second in rushing yards. They have lost back-to-back games and are 4-4 in their last eight games after starting this season 4-0.
A.J. Brown and Saquon Barkley were critical of Philadelphia's inability to sustain drives and execution coming out of the Bears game, but neither one cited Patullo or the coaching as part of the problem.
Patullo's system doesn't utilize a lot of tactics to try and manipulate defenses. They rank 31st in play-action rate and 29th in motion rate, per Sharp Football.
The Eagles' four losses through Week 13 this season are one more than they had all of last year (14-3). They will look to rebound on Monday Night Football when they play the Los Angeles Chargers at SoFi Stadium.
