B/R's Week 14 PPR Fantasy Football 2025 Player Rankings
Well, we have reached the end of the line—at least for some.
In most fantasy football leagues, Week 14 marks the end of the regular season. Some managers have sewn up a spot in the playoffs and are at most jockeying for a bye week in Week 15, while others are playing out the string—trying to play spoiler and knock other teams from the postseason.
However, there's another group for whom the edict is clear in Week 14. Win, and it's on to the playoffs; lose, and the season is done.
No matter which group you find yourself in, B/R is here to help you finish the regular season on a high note, with position-by-position PPR rankings, breakout and bust candidates, sleeper picks, and top overall flex options.
Quarterbacks
1 of 6.jpg)
The quarterback position in fantasy football is officially a mess.
Sure, it's great if you have Buffalo's Josh Allen. And fantasy managers who have streamed the position while Joe Burrow of the Bengals was out got him back in Week 13.
But Washington's Jayden Daniels is still out with a dislocated elbow. Lamar Jackson of the Ravens clearly isn't anywhere close to 100 percent. Justin Herbert of the Chargers just broke his non-throwing hand.
Had you told folks in September they'd be rolling out Jacoby Brissett of the Cardinals in a must-win week and they would actually feel OK about it, you would have been laughed at.
No one is laughing now.
Week 14 Quarterback Rankings
Players to Watch in Week 14
Daniel Jones, Indianapolis Colts (at JAX) [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,200]
Jones has slowed down of late—his last 20-point fantasy outing came back in Week 8. But he should break out the bullwhip Sunday against a bottom-10 Jaguars pass defense allowing the ninth-most fantasy points per game to quarterbacks in 2025.
Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys (at DET) [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,300]
Prescott is a top-five fantasy quarterback for the season and the No. 1 quarterback over the past three weeks. He has been one of the best values at the position this year and should keep rolling this week in a plus matchup with the Lions.
Players to Avoid in Week 14
Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals (at BUF) [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,500]
The Burrow celebration is about to hit a major speed bump. In addition to taking on a Bills team this week that has surrendered the second-fewest fantasy points per game to QBs this week, it's the time of year when the weather becomes an issue in Buffalo.
Caleb Williams, Chicago Bears (at GB) [DraftKings DFS Value: $5,600]
Williams is a respectable eighth in fantasy points among quarterbacks for the season. But he's coming off a down fantasy outing and faces a Packers team in Green Bay that has given up the sixth-fewest fantasy points per game to QBs this season.
Week 14 Sleeper
Tyler Shough, New Orleans Saints (at TB) [DraftKings DFS Value: $4,600]
Shough probably hasn't played well enough to stop the Saints from drafting a quarterback early next year, but the rookie has had his moments ahead of taking on a Tampa team allowing the sixth-most fantasy points per game to the position.
Running Backs
2 of 6.jpg)
What the horseshoe is going on in Indianapolis?
For most of the season, Jonathan Taylor of the Colts has been on a rampage that would make Godzilla blush. After gouging the Atlanta Falcons for 244 rushing yards and three touchdowns in Week 10, he was on pace to break Eric Dickerson's single-season rushing record. It was his fifth 100-yard game and fourth with three rushing scores.
Over the last two weeks, though, Taylor has been...mortal. After rushing for 85 yards on 21 carries in last week's loss to the Houston Texans, he has just 143 yards on 37 carries without a score. He's RB20 in PPR points over that admittedly short span.
Is that bad? No, but it's bad enough to make fantasy managers nervous.
Week 14 Running Back Rankings
Players to Watch in Week 14
James Cook III, Buffalo Bills (vs. CIN) [DraftKings DFS Value: $7,800]
Cook has been nothing short of a revelation this year, and he's just 54 yards behind Taylor for the NFL's rushing lead. He may well pass him this week against a terrible Bengals run defense allowing an AFC-high 153.3 yards per game on the ground.
Quinshon Judkins, Cleveland Browns (vs. TEN) [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,400]
Judkins is about the only thing working with any consistency for the Browns on offense. The rookie should see a robust workload Sunday against a shaky Titans run defense in a contest where Cleveland might actually have a positive game script.
Players to Avoid in Week 14
Ashton Jeanty, Las Vegas Raiders (vs. DEN) [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,100]
At this point, Jeanty probably wishes he could turn back time and go back to Boise State for another year. He'll be even more wistful about the good old days after facing Denver's fifth-ranked run defense on Sunday.
Javonte Williams, Dallas Cowboys (at DET) [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,500]
Williams has been excellent for the Cowboys this year, and he's averaging 4.8 yards per carry and needs just 45 yards for his first 1,000-yard season on the ground. But no team in the league is giving up fewer PPR points per game to running backs this year than the Lions.
Week 14 Sleeper
Devin Neal, New Orleans Saints (at TB) [DraftKings DFS Value: $5,100]
The ground game in New Orleans has been asleep this year, and only three teams have rushed for fewer yards per game this year. But the Buccaneers have allowed the seventh-most PPR points per game to running backs in 2025.
Wide Receivers
3 of 6.jpg)
Justin Jefferson of the Minnesota Vikings wasn't the first wideout drafted in most fantasy leagues this year, but he was the second—in part because he has shown the ability to be effectively "QB Proof" in the past.
As it turns out, no one can escape the vortex of disappointment that is Max Brosmer.
Last week against Seattle, Jefferson had two catches—for four yards. It wasn't just last week, either. He hasn't found the end zone in a month and has single-digit PPR points in three of four games. Last year's WR3 after 13 weeks currently sits at WR18.
That's not terrible, but it's not what fantasy managers expected from the sixth-year veteran. And given the way J.J. McCarthy has played under center for the reeling Vikings in 2025, hoping for marked improvement is just that: hope.
Week 14 Wide Receiver Rankings
Players to Watch in Week 14
Zay Flowers, Baltimore Ravens (vs. PIT) [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,100]
Flowers' streak of five straight games with at least 10 PPR points came to a crashing halt with two catches for six yards last week against the Cincinnati Bengals. This week, though, he and the Ravens face a Steelers team that ranks 28th in the league in pass defense.
Justin Jefferson, Minnesota Vikings (vs. WAS) [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,900]
Keep hope alive. This analyst wouldn't touch Jefferson with a 10-foot pole in DFS at that salary. But if ever he was going to have a Justin Jefferson week, it's Sunday against a Commanders team allowing the fifth-most PPR points per game to wideouts.
Players to Avoid in Week 14
Deebo Samuel, Washington Commanders (at MIN) [DraftKings DFS Value: $5,500]
Samuel has been quietly solid over the last month—since Week 10, he ranks 16th in PPR points per game among receivers. But the Vikings are a tough matchup. They are fifth in the NFL against the pass at 174.0 yards per game.
DeVonta Smith, Philadelphia Eagles (at LAC) [DraftKings DFS Value: $5,900]
Smith has been a roller coaster over the past month, alternating solid outings for fantasy managers with duds. This week shapes up as the latter. The Chargers are dead-last in PPR points per game surrendered to wide receivers.
Week 14 Sleeper
Isaac TeSlaa, Detroit Lions (vs. DAL) [DraftKings DFS Value: $3,400]
TeSlaa has shown flashes with limited targets, but the playing time just hasn't been there. The rookie should see the field more Thursday night with Amon-Ra St. Brown (ankle) unlikely to go against the Cowboys and their atrocious pass defense.
Tight Ends
4 of 6.jpg)
Turn out the lights. At the tight end position, the party is over.
It's Trey McBride's world, and everyone else is just taking up space.
After catching eight passes for 82 yards and a touchdown last week, he has more receptions (309) over the first four seasons of his career than any other tight end in NFL history. He is also finally scoring touchdowns—after six scores in his first three seasons combined, he has eight in 2025.
While addressing the media, Cardinals quarterback Jacoby Brissett had nothing but good things to say about McBride.
"I think it (starts) on the practice field. When he suits up, I think he's a threat. He's just one of those players where obviously you have to find ways to get him the ball, but the ball just finds him," the QB said. "He's just one of those guys that football just comes easy to him."
Oh, and McBride has an 85-plus PPR point lead on the No. 2 tight end in fantasy.
Week 14 Tight End Rankings
Players to Watch in Week 14
Mark Andrews, Baltimore Ravens (vs. PIT) [DraftKings DFS Value: $4,100]
Andrews has been all over the place this season, and his fantasy value essentially depends on the veteran finding the end zone. That's what he's going to do Sunday in a big AFC North showdown with a Steelers team that just isn't good defensively.
Kyle Pitts, Atlanta Falcons (vs. SEA) [DraftKings DFS Value: $4,200]
Pitts hauled in seven passes for 82 yards last week—his first outing since Week 8 with over 10 PPR points. He's worth a look again this week against a Seattle defense allowing the fifth-most PPR points per game to tight ends.
Players to Avoid in Week 14
Jake Ferguson, Dallas Cowboys (at DET) [DraftKings DFS Value: $4,900]
Ferguson is a top-five fantasy tight end for the season, but his production has tailed off of late—his last 12-point outing was back in Week 7. The Lions have surrendered the ninth-fewest PPR points to TEs in 2025.
Orande Gadsden II, Los Angeles Chargers (vs. PHI) [DraftKings DFS Value: $4,400]
Gadsden has had his moments for the Chargers this season, but they haven't come recently—his last game with 10 PPR points was Week 9. That is not going to change in a bad fantasy matchup for tight ends with the Eagles.
Week 14 Sleeper
Dawson Knox, Buffalo Bills (vs. CIN) [DraftKings DFS Value: $2,800]
There hasn't been a better fantasy matchup for tight ends this season than the Cincinnati Bengals. If Dalton Kincaid (hamstring) is able to return, it will muck this call up; but if he sits for a fourth straight week, Knox could be a solid spot-start.
Team Defenses and Kickers
5 of 6.jpg)
It didn't take a genius to see the Seattle Seahawks defense had a good matchup last week against the Minnesota Vikings. Seattle is a top-10 unit in multiple statistical categories, and it was facing an undrafted free agent rookie in Max Brosmer.
Things went better than anyone dared hope, though. In the contest, Seattle didn't allow a single point, sacked Brosmer five times and forced five turnovers—including a pick-six so bad that even Will Levis just shook his head. For the week, the Seattle defense was a top-three fantasy player. Not defense. Player.
For a great many fantasy managers, defenses are an afterthought—they spend a few seconds looking at matchups and then plug a defense in. If it works, great; if not, who cares?
Well, in a week when many teams had to have a win, folks who started the Seahawks cared quite a bit.
This time of year, every point matters.
And so do defenses and kickers.
Week 14 Team Defense Rankings
Week 14 Kicker Rankings
Players to Watch in Week 14
Cleveland Browns Defense (at TEN) [DraftKings DFS Value: $3,700]
With five games to go in the season, Browns edge-rusher Myles Garrett needs four sacks to break the single-season record of 22.5. Given how the Titans have "protected" Cam Ward this year, Garrett may do it this week. Seriously.
Chris Boswell, Pittsburgh Steelers (at BAL)
Boswell has been in a funk the past two games, largely because the Steelers offense has been in a funk. But the veteran has a good chance of turning things around against an average Ravens defense surrendering the second-most fantasy points per game to kickers.
Players to Avoid in Week 14
Houston Texans Defense (at KC) [DraftKings DFS Value: $2,600]
The Texans are playing outstanding defense—the team is first in total defense and scoring defense and second in fantasy points at the position. But this week brings a tough matchup at Arrowhead against a desperate Kansas City Chiefs team.
Harrison Butker, Kansas City Chiefs (vs. HOU)
Butker is a big name who hasn't produced big numbers this season, and he's ninth among kickers in fantasy points this season. He'll be lucky to finish in that slot this week against a Texans team allowing the fewest fantasy points per game to kickers.
Week 14 Sleeper
Washington Commanders Defense (at MIN) [DraftKings DFS Value: $2,800]
The Commanders haven't been good defensively—the team ranks in the bottom-five in both total defense and fantasy points. But even if J.J. McCarthy plays Sunday, the Vikings have still been a plus matchup for opposing defenses.
Overall Rankings
6 of 6.jpg)
This ranking of the top overall players for PPR fantasy leagues in Week 14 can aid managers in making flex lineup decisions. It does not, however, include quarterbacks—if you play in a superflex league and have a solid second starter under center, he should be in that lineup slot.
Of course, finding a decent second quarterback has grown more difficult by the week, and many teams are scrambling to find just one.
There are four teams taking Week 14 off—the Carolina Panthers, New England Patriots, New York Giants and San Francisco 49ers are on bye. No Drake Maye or Christian McCaffrey in a must-win week. Lovely.
There's not much advice to give in this most important week of the regular season. Whether you are vying for a Round 1 bye or fighting for a playoff spot, this is the week to let it all hang out—especially if you are an underdog.
Go for broke—there's no place for low-ceiling "safe" plays in a must-win week. Unless you're in a battle with another team for points in the standings, it doesn't matter if you lose by 10 or 100. A loss is a loss.
So, swing for the fences. Fortune favors the brave—or so they say.
