Will Simone Biles Compete in 2028 LA Olympics? Gymnastics Legend Shares Thoughts

Legendary gymnast Simone Biles isn't revealing whether she'll attempt to compete at the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles.

"It's only been a year since the last Olympics, so I need to give my body and my mind the break that they need and deserve," she told Rolling Stone's Alexis Mikulski Ruiz when asked about her future Olympic plans.

She does want to check out this winter's Milano Cortina Olympics, however.

"I'm trying to go to the Winter Games, so we'll see how I make it work," she told Ruiz. "I want to see some skiing, and I want to go to the ice skating. The Olympics—that's my thing. It's so fun to watch and to show up when I've never been able to do that before. I'm so excited, and I have to get my outfits ready."

Biles is an 11-time Olympic medalist, which includes seven golds. She took home three of them at the 2024 Paris Games in the all-around competition, team competition and vault, along with a silver in the floor exercise.
