NFL Fans Hype Eminem, Jack White's Thanksgiving Halftime Show for Packers vs. Lions

Jack White took to the stage during halftime of the Thanksgiving Day game between the Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers.

White got an assist from Eminem, which was a welcome addition given his deep ties to Detroit and Lions fandom.

The performance seemed to hit all of the right notes for NFL fans:

Picking White, another native of the Motor City, as the headliner was a pretty safe choice after Jack Harlow's halftime effort fell flat with both the live audience and those watching on television.

Those inside Ford Field will hope the famed guitarist helped to light a bit of a fire under the home team.

The Lions went into the locker room down 17-14 at halftime. They had been trailing by two scores before Jameson Williams hauled in a 25-yard pass to set up his 22-yard scoring connection with Jared Goff.
