J.J. McCarthy Ripped by NFL Fans as Vikings Fall to Packers for 3rd Straight Loss
J.J. McCarthy and the Minnesota Vikings dropped their third straight game in a 23-6 loss to the Green Bay Packers on the road Sunday.
Falling to 4-7 and winning just one of their last six, the Vikings' season has unraveled behind their sophomore quarterback, who earned the starting job after being selected No. 10 overall in the 2024 NFL draft.

McCarthy struggled, throwing for 87 yards with two interceptions and no touchdown while taking five sacks. Justin Jefferson added 48 yards on four receptions.
Fans ripped McCarthy's poor performance amid Minnesota's skid.
McCarthy's performance has been getting attention for all the wrong reasons lately. Last week's 19-17 loss to Chicago saw him throw for 150 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions while completing 16-of-32 passes.
The week before, he was slightly better with 248 yards, but completed just 20-of-42 attempts with one touchdown and again, two interceptions.
With Carson Wentz on injured reserve and undrafted rookie Max Brosmer out of Minnesota as their only other option, the Vikings are limited in the quarterback room moving forward. Minnesota will travel to face the Seattle Seahawks next Sunday.
