According To Forbes Magazine: Adriano Is Absolutely Right
Much was said a few months back about Emperor Adriano's decision to leave Inter Milan and play for the club of his dreams - Flamengo.
When interviewed at the time Adriano was emphatic in saying that his problem was not with the club Inter Milan but indeed the city of Milan.
He stated at the time that he simply could not stand living in Milan and was unhappy.

In other words, unlike most Brazilians who are willing to put up with living just about anywhere in the world in order to make big bucks, Adriano simply missed home and wasn't willing to trade his happiness and family for a fistful of dollars.
Many questioned this approach by the megastar, but his successes at Flamengo and his recent call up to the greatest football team on the planet - the Selecao Brasileira, suggest that, professionally, Adriano is right on track.
Furthermore a recent survey published in the world renowned Forbes Magazine highlights Rio de Janeiro, as, nothing less than, the happiest city on the planet.
On-line respondents totaling 10,000 from 20 different countries were interviewed and the results showed that Rio de Janeiro is considered by most as the happiest city in the world followed by Sydney, Barcelona and Amsterdam.
So now we finally have some numbers to back that which Adriano always knew.
Hats off to the big boy for putting happiness and family ahead of more and more millions of dollars.
He now plays for the club of his dreams with tens of millions of followers and lives in the city of dreams, A Cidade Maravilhosa -The Marvellous City, Rio de Janeiro. Simply as good as it gets.
