Seahawks' Sam Darnold Takes Blame for 'Unacceptable' Turnovers, 'I Have to Be Better'
Sam Darnold has enjoyed a successful season while leading the Seattle Seahawks to a 7-3 start, but turnovers have become an issue for the quarterback in recent weeks.
After throwing four interceptions against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, Darnold took the blame for the recent errors.
"It's unacceptable," Darnold said Thursday, per ESPN's Brady Henderson. "We understand as an offense, we have to be better, I have to be better, protecting the football. We're doing everything that we can in practice and when the game comes to try to take care of the football a little bit better."

Darnold, who signed with the Seahawks following a breakout season with the Minnesota Vikings last year, has thrown for 2,541 yards, 17 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.
Seattle has looked like a Super Bowl contender all season despite leading the league in with 20 giveaways. If the Seahawks can correct those errors, they could be one of the scariest teams heading into the postseason.
