B/R's Week 12 PPR Fantasy Football 2025 Player Rankings
It's Week 12—Thanksgiving and the fantasy playoffs are just around the corner, and managers are busy wondering whether they'll have anything to be thankful for.
At this point in the season, you are either a winner or a loser (unless your league has ties, which is gross). There's no margin for error, and there's more pressure than an Instant Pot.
The best way to approach the season at this point is almost as if the playoffs have already started. Look at it as a must-win game and focus on maximizing points.
Just as we have been every week, Bleacher Report is here to help you do just that—with position-by-position PPR rankings, breakout and bust candidates, sleeper picks, and top overall flex options.
Quarterbacks
1 of 6.jpg)
Some weeks you're the windshield; other weeks, you're the bug. In Week 11, quite a few fantasy managers were the bug at the quarterback position.
Justin Herbert of the Los Angeles Chargers threw for just 81 yards in a blowout loss to the Jaguars—the lowest passing output of his career. Sam Darnold of the Seattle Seahawks threw four interceptions in a loss to the Los Angeles Rams.
In the week's biggest kick in the teeth, Lamar Jackson of the Baltimore Ravens threw for less than 200 yards, ran for just 10 yards and tossed a pair of picks against the Cleveland Browns.
Those duds came in a week when Josh Allen threw three touchdown passes and ran for three more—for the second time in his career. It was just mean.
Week 12 Quarterback Rankings
Players to Watch in Week 12
Jared Goff, Detroit Lions (vs. NYG) [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,000]
Goff was another quarterback who fell flat in Week 11, completing just 38 percent of his passes in a loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. But the Giants aren't the Eagles, and the Lions will be playing indoors this week.
Drake Maye, New England Patriots (at CIN) [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,900]
Maye is coming off his second-worst fantasy performance of the season in last week's win over the New York Jets. But fantasy's No. 2 quarterback should rebound in a big way against Cincinnati's non-existent defense.
Players to Avoid in Week 12
Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys (vs. PHI) [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,400]
Prescott was sharp Monday night against the Las Vegas Raiders, throwing four touchdown passes in a blowout win. But the Eagles defense has looked fantastic recently, allowing the fifth-fewest fantasy points per game to QBs over that span.
Brock Purdy, San Francisco 49ers (vs. CAR) [DraftKings DFS Value: $5,900]
Purdy looked good in his return to action, throwing three touchdown passes and finishing the week sixth among quarterbacks in fantasy points. But the 6-5 Panthers have quietly surrendered the ninth-fewest fantasy points per game to quarterbacks.
Week 12 Sleeper
Jacoby Brissett, Arizona Cardinals (vs. JAX) [DraftKings DFS Value: $5,300]
Can you call a quarterback who just set an NFL record for completions in a game a "sleeper?" The Jaguars just put the clamps on Herbert, but they have allowed the fifth-most fantasy points per game to quarterbacks for the season.
Running Backs
2 of 6.jpg)
It appears to be a two-horse race to be the No. 1 running back in fantasy football this year.
After another big game that included 121 total yards and three scores, Christian McCaffrey of the San Francisco 49ers has reclaimed the No. 1 spot at the position in PPR points. That's the third time in five weeks he has topped 30 PPR points.
Coming out of his bye week, Jonathan Taylor of the Indianapolis Colts is hot on McCaffrey's heels. He doesn't have the Niners star's receiving upside, but he's leading the league in rushing yards (1,139) and rushing touchdowns (15) and paces all running backs in PPR points per game.
Week 12 Running Back Rankings
Players to Watch in Week 12
TreVeyon Henderson, New England Patriots (at CIN) [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,700]
Henderson has had his mail forwarded to the end zone the past two games, with five total touchdowns over the past two weeks. He'll get another score this week against a Bengals defense allowing a league-high 160.9 yards per game on the ground.
Kyren Williams, Los Angeles Rams (vs. TB) [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,800]
Williams is quietly having another excellent season, and he is ninth in PPR points among running backs through 11 weeks. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have given up the sixth-most PPR points per game to RBs this year.
Players to Avoid in Week 12
Tyrone Tracy Jr., New York Giants (at DET) [DraftKings DFS Value: $5,800]
Tracy out-touched Devin Singletary 23-17 last week against the Green Bay Packers, but neither back can be trusted against a Lions defense allowing less than 100 yards per game on the ground and the fewest PPR points per game to the running back position.
Rachaad White, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (at LAR) [DraftKings DFS Value: $5,700]
White was out-touched and outperformed by Sean Tucker in Week 11. Bucky Irving could be nearing a return to action for the Buccaneers. The Rams have given up the third-fewest PPR points per game to running backs in 2025.
Week 12 Sleeper
Zach Charbonnet, Seattle Seahawks (at TEN) [DraftKings DFS Value: $4,900]
Charbonnet was quiet last week, but as recently as two weeks ago, he had 14 carries for 83 yards and a touchdown against the Arizona Cardinals. The one-win Titans are 26th in the league in run defense, giving up just under 135 yards per game on the ground.
Wide Receivers
3 of 6.jpg)
Apparently, the 2025 fantasy campaign at wide receiver is all about the NFC.
Starting with Jaxon Smith-Njigba of the Seattle Seahawks at WR1 and ending with banged-up Atlanta Falcons wideout Drake London at WR9, a staggering eight of the top-10 wideouts in fantasy hail from the NFC.
The only two AFC wideouts in the top 10 are Ja'Marr Chase of the Cincinnati Bengals, who will sit out Week 12 while he learns some manners, and Jaylen Waddle of the Miami Dolphins.
Will that change over the last six weeks of the fantasy season? Almost certainly. Does it really matter at the end of the day? Nah. It's an interesting stat, nonetheless.
Week 12 Wide Receiver Rankings
Players to Watch in Week 12
A.J. Brown, Philadelphia Eagles (at DAL) [DraftKings DFS Value: $5,900]
We got a rare A.J. Brown sighting last week against the Detroit Lions—11 targets and seven catches, albeit for just 49 yards. Now the Eagles face a Cowboys team allowing the most PPR points per game in the NFC to wide receivers.
Rome Odunze, Chicago Bears (vs. PIT) [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,100]
Odunze has emerged as the clear-cut No. 1 wide receiver for the Bears this season, and Chicago now takes on a Pittsburgh Steelers defense that ranks dead-last against the pass at 261.7 yards allowed per game.
Players to Avoid in Week 12
Michael Pittman Jr., Indianapolis Colts (at KC) [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,000]
Pittman has been solid for fantasy managers and is 11th in PPR points among wide receivers after 11 weeks. But the desperate Chiefs are a bad fantasy matchup, allowing the eighth-fewest PPR points per game to wide receivers this season.
Khalil Shakir, Buffalo Bills (at HOU) [DraftKings DFS Value: $5,000]
Shakir leads the Bills in targets (61), receptions (45) and receiving yards (454) this year, but the Texans are second in the league in pass defense and have given up the fewest PPR points per game to wideouts in 2025.
Week 12 Sleeper
Xavier Worthy, Kansas City Chiefs (vs. IND) [DraftKings DFS Value: $4,700]
Worthy's second season has been a disappointment for fantasy managers. However, the Chiefs need this win in the worst imaginable way, and while the Colts are winning, the team sits 25th in the league in pass defense.
Tight Ends
4 of 6.jpg)
After topping 27 PPR points in back-to-back games, Trey McBride of the Arizona Cardinals is barreling toward a runaway No. 1 finish among tight ends.
However, the top tight end in the AFC is a familiar face from the AFC West—just not the one most expected.
Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs was once the unquestioned king of fantasy TEs by an almost laughable margin. But he is now 36 years old.
However, after catching nine passes for 91 yards and a touchdown (that gave him the all-time Chiefs TD record) last week against the Denver Broncos, the 10-time Pro Bowler sits atop the AFC in PPR points.
Week 12 Tight End Rankings
Players to Watch in Week 12
Hunter Henry, New England Patriots (at CIN) [DraftKings DFS Value: $3,900]
Henry has been mired in a prolonged statistical funk. The last time the veteran amassed 10 PPR points was back in Week 4. But where tight ends are concerned this year, no team is a better slump-buster than the Bengals' woeful defense.
Travis Kelce, Kansas City (vs. IND) [DraftKings DFS Value: $5,000]
You thought we were done talking up the greatness of Kelce? Oh no, not ahead of a matchup with an Indianapolis Colts team giving up the fourth-most PPR points per game to tight ends.
Players to Avoid in Week 12
Harold Fannin Jr., Cleveland Browns (at LV) [DraftKings DFS Value: $3,600]
For much of the season, Fannin has been something of a bright spot in a terrible Browns offense. But in addition to a bad fantasy matchup for the position this week with the Raiders, he has to try to catch Shedeur Sanders' worm-burners.
Dalton Schultz, Houston Texans (vs. BUF) [DraftKings DFS Value: $4,000]
With Davis Mills under center, Schultz has been third in PPR points among tight ends. Mills will likely start again for the Texans in Week 12, but it's against a Bills team giving up the fewest PPR points per game to tight ends this year.
Week 12 Sleeper
Noah Fant, Cincinnati Bengals (vs. NE) [DraftKings DFS Value : $3,100]
Fant has quietly been solid over the past month, with 14 catches for 149 yards and two touchdowns. With Ja'Marr Chase likely out, Fant could see a bump in targets against a Patriots team surrendering the ninth-most PPR points per game to tight ends this season.
Team Defenses and Kickers
5 of 6.jpg)
For a good portion of the season, the Pittsburgh Steelers' usually stout defense has been disappointing. No team in the league has been leakier against the pass.
However, that defense has now climbed to seventh for the year in terms of fantasy points thanks to a pair of massive efforts, including a blowout win over the Cincinnati Bengals where the Steelers scored on a pick-six and a fumble return.
This doesn't mean the Steel Curtain isn't still aluminum this season, but it's a reminder even bad defenses can score big in fantasy when the matchup is right.
Week 12 Team Defense Rankings
Week 12 Kicker Rankings
Players to Watch in Week 12
Las Vegas Raiders Defense (vs. CLE) [DraftKings DFS Value: $3,500]
The Raiders didn't play well against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 11, but there's a slight difference between taking on Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb and facing Shedeur Sanders and what's left of Jerry Jeudy.
Tyler Loop, Baltimore Ravens (vs. NYJ)
The Ravens are one of the NFL's hottest teams, winning four straight after a 1-4 start. Loop should see plenty of scoring opportunities against a Jets team leading the league in fantasy points per game allowed to kickers.
Players to Avoid in Week 12
Kansas City Chiefs Defense (vs. IND) [DraftKings DFS Value: $3,100]
The Chiefs are backed against the wall as they prepare to host the Colts this week, and the Indianapolis offense has been a buzzsaw much of the season. It ranks dead-last in fantasy points per game allowed to defenses.
Matt Prater, Buffalo Bills (at HOU)
Prater has been solid for the Bills since taking over for an injured Tyler Bass, but he's just 18th in fantasy points among kickers and faces a Texans team that is dead-last in fantasy points per game surrendered to kickers.
Week 12 Sleeper
Cleveland Browns Defense (at LV) [DraftKings DFS Value: $2,900]
Cleveland edge-rusher Myles Garrett has 15 sacks for the season and 10 over the past three games alone. The Browns lead the NFL in pass defense. So, Raiders offensive coordinator Chip Kelly will have Geno Smith throw the ball 45 times Sunday.
Overall Rankings
6 of 6.jpg)
These overall player rankings for PPR fantasy leagues in Week 12 can be of assistance when making flex lineup decisions. However, quarterbacks are not included here—if your league has a superflex spot and you have a solid QB2, he should be in that spot.
Of course, the list of solid second quarterbacks isn't getting any longer at this point in the season.
There are four teams taking Week 12 off: the Denver Broncos, Los Angeles Chargers, Miami Dolphins and Washington Commanders. No Courtland Sutton, Ladd McConkey, Jaylen Waddle or Zach Ertz this week.
This week's advice is geared toward an underserved group of fantasy managers—the tomato cans. Yes, it's no fun to be 4-7 or 3-8 and effectively eliminated from the playoffs. But just throwing in the towel and "ghosting" is bad form.
At the very least, set your lineup every week. Ideally, keep making claims, try to get better and take as many teams down with you as possible.
After all, misery loves company.
