NFL Draft 2026 Scouting Report for Missouri OT Cayden Green

Brandon ThornNov 26, 2025

Cayden Green is a long, thickly built and raw blocker with starting experience at guard and left tackle. However, erratic pad level and inconsistent hand placement result in shaky leverage and control. At 21, Green still has the traits to develop and crack a starting NFL lineup by the end of his rookie contract.

Green is a 6'5", 324-pound offensive line prospect, who entered the Oklahoma program as a 4-star recruit in the 2023 class before transferring to Missouri before the '24 campaign.

Green started 13 games at left guard for the Tigers in 2023 and five games with the Sooners during the previous campaign. He converted to left tackle as a junior prospect.

Where He Wins

1 of 4
COLLEGE FOOTBALL: OCT 11 Alabama at Missouri

— Broad frame, well-rounded build and good power base to stifle defenders once latched.

— Casts a wide net with his length, which allows him to widen/harden his edges when his strike-timing and placement are dialed in.

— Sheer size and raw strength are enough to impede defenders and wall off lanes on angle-drive blocks.

— Flashes of playing long on combo-and-climbs to stab, release and intersect targets on the move.

— Uses an effective snatch-trap technique to defeat the long-arm and drop leaning rushers.

Areas of Improvement

2 of 4
COLLEGE FOOTBALL: AUG 28 Central Arkansas at Missouri

— Upright playing style with erratic hand placement saps his leverage and control.

— Bad habit of dipping his head into contact and/or playing short, leaving him grasping and overextended when the picture changes.

— Unrefined feel for timing and spatial awareness on combination blocks results in too much leakage and penetration.
