A 56-yard kickoff return from Devin Duvernay set the Bears up in field-goal range for Santos' game-winning 48-yard field goal.
The loss was the fourth in Minnesota's last five games and it dropped the Vikings to 4-6. They are 2.5 games back of the Bears in the NFC North and only have three divisional games left to make up some ground.
One of those remaining NFC North games takes place in Week 12, when the Vikings visit the Green Bay Packers.
