Micah Parsons Rips Colin Cowherd For Questioning Packers Star's Impact After Loss

Julia StumbaughNov 11, 2025

Green Bay Packers star Micah Parsons pushed back against NFL analyst Colin Cowherd saying he wasn't "good against the run" during Monday night's Week 10 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.

Parsons wrote Tuesday on X that his team "just held Saquon Barkley to 60 rushing yards, and our only losses have been holding teams to 13 points."

"Please stfu and enjoy great defense! Why do you think teams come into the games that were going to run the ball on 3rd and long? What effect do you think that is?" Parsons wrote. "Please stop giving people's mics or listening to trash!"

Parsons recorded seven pressures and two tackles during the Packers' 10-7 loss. Cowherd had pointed out it was his second straight game without a sack or quarterback hit.

"Micah's rep has always been, he is a splash player. A remarkable, athletic splash player," Cowherd. "He's not good against the run."

The Eagles were held to fewer than 90 rushing yards in five straight games between Week 3 and 7 amid a drop in production from Saquon Barkley.

Philadelphia headed into the matchup with the Packers, however, having just dropped 276 rushing yards (including 150 from Barkley and 104 from Tank Bigsby) in a Week 8 win over the New York Giants.

The Packers defense brought Barkley back down to about 2.7 yards per carry as he totaled 60 rushing yards on 22 attempts in Week 10.

That included a potential uncalled trip by Parsons as Barkley looked to break through the Packers defense in the fourth quarter.

Barkley did, however, record a 41-yard reception on the fourth-quarter touchdown drive that ended up making the difference in the Eagles' win.

Green Bay's offense got one final shot at tying the score when the defense forced an incompletion following the Eagles' decision to go for a fourth-and-6 late in the final two minutes.

But the Packers were only able to get within 64 yards of a field goal for Brandon McManus, who missed the attempt to seal the Packers' victory.

"I thought our defense was outstanding, and unfortunately too many mistakes offensively to overcome it," Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said after the game.

Parsons apparently wasn't happy to see his defense called out following a game featuring so many noticeable mistakes on the other side of the ball.

The Packers fell to 5-3-1 with the loss. Green Bay may need more output from the team's offensive corps in order to climb back into NFC North contention with a win Sunday against the New York Giants.
