A Loaded NFC West

The NFC West is and has been one of the best divisions in pro sports for years now, with two or three teams routinely competing for playoff spots and one of the top seeds in the conference.
That will not change in 2025, with the Seattle Seahawks and the Los Angeles Rams looking like the class of the NFC through the first 10 weeks of the season.
The Seahawks sent a message loudly and clearly to the rest of the league Sunday, dismantling a hapless Arizona Cardinals squad, 44-22. Mike MacDonald has his squad playing some of the best football in the game, with a defense that is coming to life of late, with former Dallas Cowboys star DeMarcus Lawrence scoring twice in Week 10, returning two fumbles.
The Rams have not been shabby themselves on that side of the ball, thanks in large part to ball-hawking linebacker Nate Landman and his propensity for replicating Hall of Famer Charles Tillman's "Peanut Punch" and jarring the ball loose from his opponents.
The Rams capitalized on another forced fumble from the breakout star to take an early, commanding lead over division foes, the San Francisco 49ers en route to a 42-26 victory.
Even the Niners are a threat, thanks to head coach Kyle Shanahan's inventive play-calling and ability to make up a deficit quickly. The only question for them is whether they will have the firepower necessary to make a late-season push amid a rash of injuries to top stars.
Week 11 brings with it one of the best and most important games of the season for the division when the Rams host the Seahawks. The winner will not only sit atop the division, but would be one of, if not the top seed in the conference.
Every week from here on out is essential to establishing playoff positioning but their showdown is as high-stakes as it gets on this side of the postseason given how important it will be for both squads to establish a home field advantage come January.
