Week 11 Waiver Wire Breakout Fantasy Football Pickups from Sunday's Box Scores

Erik BeastonNov 9, 2025

Injuries, bye weeks, and lackluster play can derail fantasy teams and cost them an opportunity to participate in their league playoffs.

The best managers can navigate those things, scour the waiver wire, and find replacements who can benefit their teams. They are often overlooked, undervalued, or late performers who fly under the radar until a fantasy expert recognizes their potential impact on their team and grabs them.

With top performers suffering injuries or unavailable due to a week off, these are waiver wire pickups with breakout potential worth seeking out.

All stats via FantasyPros.com unless otherwise noted.

Alec Pierce, WR, Indianapolis Colts

Falcons Colts Football

The Colts offense is red hot, among the best in the league, and Alec Pierce has been a big part of it in recent weeks.

Since Week 7, the speedy wideout has been targeted 35 times, caught 17 balls, and gained 366 yards. He has scored just one touchdown, but in PPR leagues, he has been a force.

The last two weeks, he has been a top-15 finisher and has become one of quarterback Daniel Jones' favorite and most trusted targets.

Yet, for the impact he has had on that Colts defense, he is available in more than half of ESPN and Yahoo leagues.

Indianapolis' Week 11 opponent, Kansas City, is the fifth-best team against wide receivers in fantasy, and while that may deter some managers, it is a certainty that Jones will look Pierce's way, making him a must-add for those in need of wide receiver help or depth.

Parker Washington, WR, Jacksonville Jaguars

With Travis Hunter on the IL for four weeks and Brian Thomas II out Sunday with an ankle injury, the Jaguars needed a wide receiver to step up and fuel the passing game against the Houston Texans, and Parker Washington did just that.

Washington was a key cog in the Jags' offense in the weeks leading into Sunday's game, catching 15 balls on 26 targets. The Penn State product caught his first touchdown since Week 5.

Hunter cannot return until at least Week 13, and with no indication of if Thomas will return next week, the likelihood that Washington will remain essential to Jacksonville's offense is high.

That means targets and scoring opportunities, such as the seven-yard reception from Trevor Lawrence, and managers in need of receiver depth or a replacement should consider the third-year player.

Geno Smith, QB, Las Vegas Raiders

3 of 3
Raiders Broncos Football

The Raiders are one of the worst teams in the NFL and Geno Smith has underwhelmed in his first season with the black and silver, but there is one enormous reason managers should consider grabbing the former Seattle Seahawk off the waiver wire: a Week 11 match-up with the Dallas Cowboys.

Dallas gives up the most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks at 24.92, over 3.5 points more than the second-worst Cincinnati Bengals.

The Cowboys have given up 22 passing touchdowns through eight games and the most yards to signal-callers this season.

Dallas has allowed multiple touchdowns to opposing quarterbacks, both in the air and on the ground. They have been the surest thing in terms of opposing quarterback success, and that is unlikely to change, whether they are coming off a bye week or not.

With Indianapolis and Daniel Jones on a bye in Week 11, Smith is a worthy one-week start.
