Why Is Patriots HC Mike Vrabel Growing Out His Mustache?
Mike Vrabel isn't only going to be competing for an AFC East title during the month of November.
He's also going to be rocking a mustache on the sidelines.
"I've been excited to get this mustache back, it's been a while," the New England Patriots head coach told reporters. "So we're going to do Movember this year and we're going to promote men's health."

ESPN's Mike Reiss noted Movember is the annual November event where men grow out mustaches in an effort to raise money and awareness for men's health.
Reiss noted that Patriots defensive coordinator Terrell Williams was diagnosed with prostate cancer earlier this season, so there is a personal connection as well for Vrabel this year.
Vrabel used to have a mustache when he was the head coach of the Tennessee Titans, and he joked ahead of the 2019 season that his wife, Jen, was not a fan of the look.
"I would say, I didn't know it was going to be this big of a deal, how I choose to groom," he told reporters at the time. "Jen hates it, some people like it. โฆ Who knows? I had the beard for so stinkin' long, I was like, 'Let's just change it up.'"
Tennessee reached the AFC Championship Game that season, which is a destination the Patriots are eyeing after a hot start to the 2025 campaign.
New England is 7-2 and tied with the Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos for the fewest losses in the AFC. Vrabel and Co. face the 6-2 Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a high-profile showdown between two playoff contenders Sunday.
