Ravens' Derrick Henry Tells Indiana RB to 'Go Break' His High School Rushing Record
Baltimore Ravens running back Derrick Henry holds the all-time high school rushing record with 12,124 yards, a feat earned at Yulee (Florida) High School from 2009-2012.
However, Knox (Indiana) High School senior running back Myles McLaughlin currently has 11,004 rushing yards. He potentially has four playoff games left as his team traverses through the postseason, so McLaughlin could get those 1,121 more via 280-281 more rushing yards per game.

When asked about the potential of McLaughlin breaking his record, Henry was supportive of the effort and even had a message for the senior, per comments made to Kay Adams on the Up & Adams show.
"Go break it, man," Henry said.
"Running tough, breaking tackles, he's a beast. Go break it man. [Records are] meant to be broken. I've had it for 10-plus years, man, go get it, go break the record man. I hope you win the state championship with it. He's diggin' too. And he got No. 2 so, yeah man, and No. 2? Yeah! Go break that record, go get it."
Henry wore No. 2 in high school and at Alabama, where he won a Heisman Trophy. He's worn No. 22 in the pros with the Tennessee Titans and Ravens.
Now McLaughlin has an outside shot to break the record. He just had an amazing rushing effort on Friday with 408 yards and six touchdowns in a 50-35 over Griffith. His next game will be Friday against Mishawaka Marian.
