Week 10 Waiver Wire Pickups and Sleepers Who May Be Available After Box Score Analysis
Week 10 kicked off on Thursday night with an AFC West showdown between the Las Vegas Raiders and Denver Broncos. While another 13 games remain on the schedule this week, some fantasy managers may be short on options.
Injuries continue to be an issue, with Jayden Daniels being the latest star to suffer a significant injury. C.J. Stroud has already been ruled out for Week 10 as well. Another four teams—the Cincinnati Bengals, Dallas Cowboys, Kansas City Chiefs and Tennessee Titans—will be on bye this week as well.
While waiver claims have already been processed in most leagues, a few sleepers may still be available who can provide immediate help.
J.J. McCarthy, QB, Minnesota Vikings

Minnesota Vikings quarterback J.J. McCarthy may lack experience, but he possesses enough dual-threat ability to intrigue fantasy managers. He also gets to throw to pass-catchers like Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison and T.J. Hockenson.
Last week against the Detroit Lions, McCarthy threw for just 143 yards and had an interception, but he also threw two touchdown passes and rushed for 27 yards and another score .
McCarthy could have a similar outing this week against a Baltimore Ravens defense that is improving but still isn't exactly elite. The Ravens have surrendered an average of 19.3 fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks this season.
While McCarthy is a touchdown-dependent sleeper this week, he should be one of the more readily-available options. He's rostered in less than half of Yahoo and ESPN leagues.
Tank Bigsby, RB, Philadelphia Eagles

The waiver wire has been short on running back help this season, and most viable sleepers have been of the boom-or-bust variety. There have been exceptions, of course, but they've generally involved players stepping in for injured starters.
While we don't have a backup poised to take over a starting role in Week 10, Philadelphia Eagles backup Tank Bigsby could be in line for a bigger workload. He got a season-high nine carries against the New York Giants in Week 8 and turned them into 104 yards.
Coming out of the Week 9 bye, the Eagles may be willing to work Bigsby in with Saquon Barkley even more.
Now, Bigsby still remains a boom-or-bust sleeper, especially against a terrific Green Bay Packers defense. He's a top handcuff at worst, though, and is still available in over 70 percent of ESPN and Yahoo leagues.
Christian Watson, WR, Green Bay Packers

The Packers suffered a huge blow in Week 9, losing star tight end Tucker Kraft to a season-ending ACL tear. Kraft had established himself as Jordan Love's top target and will be extremely difficult to replace.
If there's a silver lining for Green Bay, it's that Kraft's injury came after wideout Christian Watson made his return from an ACL injury. Watson had been out since suffering the injury in 2024 but returned in Week 8.
Watson's numbers haven't been eye-popping, but he's logged at least four targets and 55 receiving yards in both games since his return. He should have a similar floor this week against the Eagles.
With Kraft out, Watson could have a higher ceiling too. He clearly has Love's trust, even if he isn't a true go-to target. Watson is still available in over 30 percent of Yahoo and ESPN leagues.
Luke Musgrave, TE, Green Bay Packers

Packers tight end Luke Musgrave is an enticing waiver target following Kraft's injury. While he may not replicate Kraft's numbers in Green Bay's offense, he may be able to replicate his role.
Musgrave had a season-high three receptions and 34 yards in Week 9, even though Kraft didn't leave until the third quarter.
This isn't a great week for managers to throw Musgrave into their fantasy lineups, though. Philadelphia has been a tough matchup for opposing tight ends, allowing an average of just six fantasy points per week to the position. Now's the time to target him, though. If he does have success against the Eagles, he won't be widely available on waivers next week.
Musgrave is currently rostered in just 11 percent of Yahoo leagues and 12 percent of ESPN leagues.
