Dak Prescott 'F--king Pumped' After Cowboys Trade for Quinnen Williams from Jets
Dak Prescott is psyched about the Dallas Cowboys newest addition.
The star quarterback gave his reaction after the Cowboys traded for New York Jets defensive tackle Quinnen Williams ahead of Tuesday's deadline.
"I'm f--king pumped. You can quote me on that," Prescott said, per Nick Harris of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

The Cowboys sent a 2026 second-round pick, a 2027 first-round pick and defensive tackle Mazi Smith to New York in return for Williams. Dallas previously acquired a pair of first-round picks in the trade that sent Micah Parsons to the Green Bay Packers, and owner Jerry Jones previously hinted at using draft capital ahead of the deadline.
Williams has recorded 32 tackles, seven tackles for loss and a sack this season. He's been a Pro Bowler in each of the last three seasons, including last year when he had 37 tackles, eight tackles for loss and six sacks.
The Cowboys need a capable player to aid their defensive after a rough start to the year for that unit.
Dallas has allowed the second-most yards (397.4) and the second-most points (30.8) per game this season. The Cowboys have given up the fourth-most rushing yards (143) per game and have the third worst pass defense at 254.4 yards per game.
Considering their offense has been one of the best in the league, the Cowboys struggles so far can mostly be placed on the defense. Dallas fell to 3-5-1 with Monday's loss to the Arizona Cardinals, and it has now lost three of its last four.
The addition of Williams won't solve all of the Cowboys' problems, but he gives the defense an upgrade as Dallas looks to avoid a second consecutive playoff absence.
