Jerry Jones Says Cowboys Draft Picks Acquired in Parsons Trade Aren't Untouchable
The Dallas Cowboys are sitting pretty for the next few years after acquiring two first-round picks from the Green Bay Packers in the trade for star edge rusher Micah Parsons.
However, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones didn't rule out the possibility of flipping those valuable draft picks in future trades if the right situation presents itself.
"No, nothing untouchable if we can improve our team," Jones said of the extra first-round picks during his weekly radio appearance on 105.3 The Fan in Dallas.

NFL's Most Exciting Camp Battles ⚔️
The 2025 season hasn't started the way the Cowboys had hoped, as they fell to 2-3-1 with Sunday's 30-27 loss to the Carolina Panthers. Dallas is statistically the worst defense in the NFL and it showed, as Carolina totaled 410 yards of offense in the game.
Perhaps Jones would consider trading the Cowboys' extra draft capital to acquire an edge rusher. Dallas ranks near the bottom of the league with 11 sacks through six games, failing to overcome the loss of Parsons.
The Cowboys will face the Washington Commanders in an NFC East matchup on Sunday, and any continued struggles could lead to drastic moves by Jones ahead of the Nov. 4 trade deadline.
