B/R's Week 10 PPR Fantasy Football 2025 Player Rankings
It seems like only yesterday that the 2025 fantasy football season was getting underway. However, the calendar has hit November, Week 10 is here, and the stretch run for the fantasy playoffs is just around the corner.
At this point in the season, there are only two types of fantasy teams: winning and losing.
Folks in the former camp have varying degrees of confidence about making the postseason in 2025. It's great to be sitting at 7-2 with a bit of a cushion. But if a couple of losses have turned 5-2 into 5-4, the anxiety level is rising.
Fantasy managers in the latter camp know all about that anxiety. Sitting at 4-5 isn't the end of the world, but it isn't ideal, either. A 3-6 record leaves no margin for error moving forward. If your team is 2-7 or worse, well, there's always next year.
No matter your individual season, the best way to approach this crucial part of the campaign is one week at a time. Your biggest priority should be to win in Week 10.
This column aims to help juggernauts and doormats alike do just that, with position-by-position PPR rankings, breakout and bust candidates, sleeper picks, and top overall flex options.
Quarterbacks
1 of 6.jpg)
The top of the fantasy leaderboard under center features several of the usual suspects, including Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen and Jalen Hurts. However, a pair of second-year signal-callers are also making their case for fantasy stardom in 2025.
After throwing for 259 yards and two scores last week against the Atlanta Falcons, Drake Maye trails only Mahomes in fantasy points. The New England Patriots QB is fifth in the league with 2,285 passing yards and tied for third with 17 touchdown passes.
Bo Nix of the Denver Broncos hasn't been quite as prolific through the air in terms of yardage, but thanks to 17 scoring strikes of his own and a couple of four-touchdown games, he ranks fifth in fantasy points at the position after nine weeks.
Week 10 Quarterback Rankings
Players to Watch in Week 10
Justin Herbert, Los Angeles Chargers (vs. PIT) [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,000]
Entering Week 10, Herbert is just 14 yards off the NFL lead in passing yards and leads the AFC in touchdown passes. The Steelers played well defensively last week, but Pittsburgh has still allowed the fifth-most fantasy points per game to QBs this season.
Caleb Williams, Chicago Bears (vs. NYG) [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,000]
Williams had himself a day in last week's wild win over the Cincinnati Bengals, with 280 passing yards, three scores and 53 yards on the ground. Now he faces a bad Giants defense that ranks 24th in the NFL against the pass.
Players to Avoid in Week 10
Daniel Jones, Indianapolis Colts (vs. ATL) [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,100]
Danny Dimes wasn't worth a nickel last week against the Steelers, turning the ball over five times. Now he has to try to rebound against an Atlanta defense that leads the league in pass defense at just 158.1 yards per game.
Aaron Rodgers, Pittsburgh Steelers (at LAC) [DraftKings DFS Value: $5,500]
Rodgers has quietly been an OK fantasy option of late, ranking inside the top-12 fantasy quarterbacks over the last three weeks. Leave him on the bench against a Chargers team giving up the fourth-fewest fantasy points per game to QBs in 2025.
Week 10 Sleeper
J.J. McCarthy, Minnesota Vikings (vs. BAL) [DraftKings DFS Value: $4,900]
McCarthy didn't light up the stat sheet in terms of yardage last week, but he threw for a pair of touchdowns and ran for another. The Ravens looked better last week against Miami, but their pass defense still sits 28th in the league.
Running Backs
2 of 6.jpg)
The 2025 season features something that has never happened before: Christian McCaffrey of the San Francisco 49ers leads all running backs in PPR points.
Obviously, that was said in sarcasm.
Joking aside, McCaffrey has just about single-handedly kept the San Francisco offense afloat this year. Last week against the New York Giants, he piled up 173 total yards, scored on the ground and through the air and amassed a season-high 34.3 PPR points. He has hit the 20-point mark in every game but one this season.
For all his exploits, though, there is cause for some concern with the 29-year-old. His workload has been borderline obscene—he touched the ball 33 times against New York and is on pace to surpass 430 touches for the season.
That's the kind of workload that gets backs hurt.
Week 10 Running Back Rankings
Players to Watch in Week 10
Rico Dowdle, Carolina Panthers (vs. NO) [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,300]
Dowdle had another huge game last week against the Green Bay Packers, carrying the ball 25 times for 130 yards and two touchdowns. Now he draws a Saints defense that has surrendered just under 130 yards per game on the ground.
Kyle Monangai, Chicago Bears (vs. NYG) [DraftKings DFS Value: $5,600]
Monangai's monstrous 176-yard effort in Week 9 carries the caveat that it came against a woeful Cincinnati defense. However, the Bengals are the only team that has allowed more PPR points per game to running backs this year than the Giants.
Players to Avoid in Week 10
Ashton Jeanty, Las Vegas Raiders (at DEN) [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,500]
Jeanty is coming off one of his best games with Las Vegas, with 18 touches for 89 yards and a touchdown. However, the Raiders are on the road this week against one of the league's best run defenses—the Broncos have given up just 93.1 rushing yards per game.
Rachaad White, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (vs. NE) [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,400]
White has filled in admirably for the injured Bucky Irving as Tampa's lead back. But it's possible Irving could be back on the field in Week 10, and the Patriots have given up the fourth-fewest PPR points per game to running backs.
Week 10 Sleeper
Emari Demarcado, Arizona Cardinals (at SEA) [DraftKings DFS Value: $4,500]
The Cardinals draw a tough Week 10 matchup with a Seattle team playing well defensively. But Demarcado out-touched Bam Knight 15-11 Monday night in Dallas and gets the passing-down work if the Redbirds are playing from behind.
Wide Receivers
3 of 6.jpg)
The Seattle Seahawks added a wide receiver on deadline day, swinging a trade with the New Orleans Saints for Rashid Shaheed. Make no mistake, though: Jaxon Smith-Njigba is the Wizard of Oz in the Emerald City.
Despite being targeted 28 fewer times than Ja'Marr Chase of the Cincinnati Bengals, Smith-Njigba leads the league with 948 receiving yards in eight games. The third-year pro has surpassed 100 receiving yards six times this season, including four straight with eight grabs and over 120 yards.
Not bad for a player who was never really regarded as the best receiver on his own college team—a condition now known as "Carnell Tate Syndrome."
Week 10 Wide Receiver Rankings
Players to Watch in Week 10
Troy Franklin, Denver Broncos (vs. LV) [DraftKings DFS Value: $5,200]
Broncos quarterback Bo Nix has targeted his former Oregon teammate 28 times over the last three games, six more looks than Courtland Sutton has seen over the same timeframe. Meanwhile, the Raiders secondary couldn't cover a bed with a duvet.
Ladd McConkey, Los Angeles Chargers (vs. PIT) [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,000]
McConkey cooled off last week against the Tennessee Titans after a three-week rip, but he should heat right back up in Week 10. The Steelers lead the league in PPR points per game allowed to wide receivers.
Players to Avoid in Week 10
DK Metcalf, Pittsburgh Steelers (at LAC) [DraftKings DFS Value: $5,400]
Metcalf was invisible in last week's win over the Colts, catching just two passes for six yards. Week 10 could be another slow one, as the Chargers have surrendered the third-fewest PPR points to wide receivers this season.
Chris Olave, New Orleans Saints (at CAR) [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,200]
With Rashid Shaheed now in Seattle, Olave should get a bump in targets moving forward. Unfortunately, those targets are from a poor quarterback in a matchup with a Panthers team allowing the fifth-fewest PPR points per game to wide receivers.
Week 10 Sleeper
Olamide Zaccheaus, Chicago Bears (vs. NYG) [DraftKings DFS Value: $3,600]
Zaccheaus quietly led the Bears in targets last week, catching six of them for 58 yards and a touchdown. It was the seventh-year journeyman's second straight game with double-digit PPR points ahead of a favorable matchup with the Giants.
Tight Ends
4 of 6.jpg)
So, Brock Bowers is back.
The Las Vegas Raiders are reeling after a devastating loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars in overtime last week, but that defeat cannot be laid at the feet of the team's second-year tight end.
All Bowers did against the Jags was catch 12 of 13 targets for 127 yards and three touchdowns. The game vaulted him into the No. 1 spot among tight ends in terms of PPR points per game.
That's the good news.
The bad news came in Titletown. Not only did the Green Bay Packers fall in stunning fashion to the Carolina Panthers, but breakout tight end Tucker Kraft suffered a season-ending ACL tear.
Week 10 Tight End Rankings
Players to Watch in Week 10
Orande Gadsden II, Los Angeles Chargers (vs. PIT) [DraftKings DFS Value : $5,100]
Over the past four weeks, Gadsden is fantasy football's No. 1 tight end—his 11.8 PPR points last week was his worst game over that span. Now he faces a Steelers team giving up the third-most PPR points per game to tight ends in 2025.
Sam LaPorta, Detroit Lions (at WAS) [DraftKings DFS Value: $4,400]
LaPorta has been hot of late, with touchdowns in three of his last four games and two 20-point outings over that stretch. Next up is a reeling Commanders team giving up the sixth-most PPR points per game to tight ends.
Players to Avoid in Week 10
Evan Engram, Denver Broncos (vs. LV) [DraftKings DFS Value: $3,700]
Every fantasy pundit who talked up Engram over the summer should be driven over a cliff in a bus. This writer will drive it, because I fell for all that "Joker" nonsense too.
Luke Musgrave, Green Bay Packers (vs. PHI) [DraftKings DFS Value: $3,500]
Musgrave was actually drafted before Kraft in 2023, and he has the potential to be a serviceable fantasy TE1 the rest of the way. But his first matchup as the Packers' top tight end is a rough one for the position.
Week 10 Sleeper
A.J. Barner, Seattle Seahawks (vs. ARI) [DraftKings DFS Value: $3,100]
Barner has been up and down this season, but he has posted double-digit PPR points in five of his eight games this season and draws a Cardinals team in Week 10 surrendering the ninth-most PPR points per game to TEs this year.
Team Defenses and Kickers
5 of 6.jpg)
Jacksonville Jaguars kicker Cam Little is golden.
After hitting a 70-yard field goal in the preseason, the 22-year-old is now the NFL record-holder for the longest field goal in league history after a 68-yard kick in Sunday's win over the Las Vegas Raiders.
After the game, Little told reporters that he just let it rip:
"You kick it long enough and you kick it straight enough, it's going to go in. Me and [holder] Logan [Cooke] kind of had a one-on-one right before the kick and I said, 'I'm going to hit this ball as hard as I can.' Usually when I tell myself that, I find success. So went out there and just let it loose. I think that's when I play my best."
Never let it be said this column won't give a kicker some run when they deserve it.
Week 10 Team Defense Rankings
Week 10 Kicker Rankings
Players to Watch in Week 10
Denver Broncos Defense (vs. LV) [DraftKings DFS Value: $3,500]
The Broncos were the first defense drafted in most leagues, and they have been OK for fantasy managers over the season's first half. Look for a big score Thursday night at home against a Raiders team giving up the third-most fantasy points per game to defenses.
Matt Prater, Buffalo Bills (at MIA)
Prater has been solid for the Bills this season, and they face a Miami team on Sunday that has been terrible in every way a team can be, including allowing the fifth-most fantasy points per game to kickers this season.
Players to Avoid in Week 10
Philadelphia Eagles Defense (at GB) [DraftKings DFS Value: $3,000]
The Eagles were active in bolstering the defense on the trade market, adding cornerback Jaire Alexander and edge-rusher Jaelan Phillips. But it will take them some time to get up to speed, and the Packers aren't a good fantasy matchup for defenses this year.
Cam Little, Jacksonville Jaguars (at HOU)
As great as Little's 68-yarder last week was, the youngster has struggled somewhat this year, hitting on just 76.5 percent of his field goals. He also takes on a Texans team giving up just over three fantasy points per game to kickers in 2025.
Week 10 Sleeper
Pittsburgh Steelers Defense (at LAC) [DraftKings DFS Value: $2,800]
The Steelers have struggled defensively most of the year, but that unit rose up in a big way last week against the Indianapolis Colts. With both Chargers starting tackles out, T.J. Watt should be able to get after Justin Herbert on Sunday night.
Overall Rankings
6 of 6.jpg)
These overall player rankings for PPR leagues in Week 10 can aid fantasy managers in making "flex" lineup decisions. They do not, however, include quarterbacks—if your league uses a "superflex" spot and you have a solid second quarterback, slot them in that spot.
Given the state of the quarterback position this season, folks in superflex leagues who have that second signal-caller have a considerable edge.
Week 10 is another four-team bye week—the Cincinnati Bengals, Dallas Cowboys, Kansas City Chiefs and Tennessee Titans are all off. The first three teams take a good-sized chunk out of fantasy lineups. The fourth?
Not so much.
Finally, Week 10 brings with it the trade deadline in many leagues. If your team is 4-5 or worse, don't be shy about being aggressive with a deal. Yes, parting with a top-five option at one position is a tough pill to swallow. But if you can parlay one great starter into two good ones that fills a hole in your lineup, then your team actually comes out of the deal better.
That superstar won't be of much use to you in Week 15 unless you, you know, make the playoffs.
