Fan's 2012 Shohei Ohtani Tweet Resurfaces After Dodgers Win 2nd Straight World Series
Shohei Ohtani has turned into one of the best players in baseball history in recent years, but one fan saw his greatness coming long before he made his way to the majors.
After Ohtani and the Los Angeles Dodgers won the World Series against the Toronto Blue Jays on Saturday, a fan's prediction about Ohtani resurfaced on social media.

The fan posted the tweet in 2012 when Ohtani was just 18 years old. Since then, he's earned five All-Star nods, five All-MLB First Team appearances and three MVPs—with another likely on the way this year.
Now, Ohtani has another World Series trophy to add to his resume.
Ohtani is coming off another outstanding season in which he hit 55 home runs, 102 RBI, a .282 batting average and a 1.014 OPS. In 17 postseason games, he collected eight home runs, 14 RBI and a 1.096 OPS. On the mound, he went 2-1 in four games with a 4.43 ERA and a 1.13 WHIP.
Many fans will probably argue that they had the jump on Ohtani's greatness, but at least one fan has proof of it on social media.
