J.J. McCarthy Impresses NFL Fans with 3 TDs in Vikings' Win vs. Jared Goff, Lions

J.J. McCarthy made an emphatic return to the Minnesota Vikings offense on Sunday.

McCarthy threw for two touchdowns and ran for another in a 27-24 victory over the Detroit Lions at Ford Field.

McCarthy's touchdown passes went to Justin Jefferson and T.J. Hockenson. His touchdown run handed the Vikings a 10-point lead that they wouldn't relinquish.

McCarthy sealed the game with a third-down pass to Jalen Nailor.

Minnesota's win moved it to 4-4 and 1.5 games back of the Green Bay Packers in the NFC North. Green Bay lost to the Carolina Panthers on Sunday afternoon.
