Bryce Young to Be Panthers' QB1 vs. Packers After Missing 1 Game With Ankle Injury
After missing last week's 40-9 loss to the Buffalo Bills due to an ankle injury, Carolina Panthers quarterback Bryce Young has no injury designation for Sunday's road game against the Green Bay Packers.
According to the Panthers' final injury report, Young practiced in full throughout the week, meaning he is good to go for Week 9.
Veteran quarterback Andy Dalton, who started in place of Young in Week 8, is questionable with a right thumb injury after being a limited participant in practice Thursday and Friday.

Projecting NFL Teams Most Likely to Tank for 2027 📉
With Young out of action against Buffalo, the Carolina offense struggled mightily last week.
The Panthers accumulated just 244 yards of total offense and turned the ball over three times, as Dalton threw one interception and lost two fumbles.
Selected first overall in the 2023 NFL draft out of Alabama, the 24-year-old Young is in the midst of his third NFL season.
He largely struggled over his first two campaigns, going 6-22 as a starter and completing 60.3 percent of his passes for 5,280 yards, 26 touchdowns and 19 interceptions.
The 2021 Heisman Trophy winner has shown signs of improvement so far this season, going 4-3 in seven starts and completing 61.6 percent of his passing attempts for 1,288 yards, 11 touchdowns and five picks.
While Young hasn't put up huge numbers, he has three multi-touchdown games this season and has thrown just two total interceptions over his past five games combined.
With a record of 4-4, the Panthers are just one victory away from matching their win total of five from last season.
Carolina is also in the thick of the NFC playoff race, as it is just one game behind the San Francisco 49ers from the seventh and final playoff spot.
The Panthers have a big challenge on their hands Sunday against a Packers team that has the best record in the NFC at 5-1-1.
Since the Green Bay defense is third in the NFL against the run, allowing just 78.9 rushing yards per game, the Panthers' offensive success may largely rest on the arm of Young and the performance of wide receivers Tetairoa McMillan, Xavier Legette and Jalen Coker.
