Picking the Perfect Teams for WWE Survivor Series WarGames 2025

November is known for Thanksgiving and turkey, but for wrestling fans, it's the time-honored tradition of WWE Survivor Series.

With the WarGames caveat added again this year, the WWE Universe has started shifting its attention to the men's and women's matches and which Superstars will take part in the unique stipulation.

Here are the perfect teams for the 2025 edition of Survivor Series: WarGames.

Men's WarGames

Faces: John Cena, Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, Jey Uso, LA Knight

During his retirement run, John Cena has been recreating some of his most famous feuds, and at Survivor Series, which will be one of his final WWE appearances, expect him to lead a team of faces in WarGames.

With all eyes on Cena, he should recruit two of the biggest names in the sport and two of his foes: Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns.

With three of the biggest stars in WWE joining forces, Triple H and WWE Creative should add two of the most popular names right now, Jey Uso and LA Knight, to the team.

Heels: Brock Lesnar, Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Logan Paul, Drew McIntyre

The injury to Seth Rollins obviously changed WWE's plans moving forward, but the same basic premise can continue at Survivor Series without him.

With Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar rebuilding their relationship, The Beast Incarnate will be tasked with leading Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed for the heels.

To add star power and social media appeal to the match, WWE will lean on its most talented main event gatekeeper, Drew McIntyre—a performer who deserves a world title again soon—and the mainstream media appeal of Logan Paul to round out the heel team.

Between the faces and heels, this would be WWE's biggest WarGames match ever.

Women's WarGames

Faces: Rhea Ripley, Iyo Sky, AJ Lee, Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss

While the men's WarGames match is built on the biggest names in the business, the women's matchup will have a better mix of star power and storylines.

For the face team, teaming Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky is a natural fit, given their extensive history.

Add in a fan favorite such as AJ Lee and the power combination of Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss, and fans should be excited about the ample opportunities for high-flying moments, including another moonsault from Sky, a moonsault from Flair, or a Black Widow using the cage from Lee.

Heels: Becky Lynch, Asuka, Kairi Sane, Nia Jax, Giulia

On the heel side, there is less of an interconnection between the Superstars, bar Asuka and Kairi Sane.

While Nia Jax brings the power and Giulia has the technical prowess, the real star power comes from the addition of Becky Lynch, which makes the heels a formidable threat.

The Man would be able to stand toe-to-toe with Ripley in terms of popularity, while Sky battling Asuka and Sane has callbacks to Damage CTRL.

Add in a clash between two powerful women in Flair and Jax, as well as an intriguing battle between Lee and Giulia, and the resulting match could be one of the best.
