Packers' Matt LaFleur Doesn't Speak to Brandon McManus, 'I Don't Talk to Kickers'
As a head coach, Green Bay Packers' Matt LaFleur has to be locked into what's going on with his offense and defense, but he takes a laissez-faire approach when it comes to one unit.
When asked about Brandon McManus' recent injury, LaFleur revealed that he doesn't speak to kickers.
"He looked good. I didn't ask him how he felt. I don't talk to kickers," he told reporters. "I would assume he felt OK."

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
McManus, a 12-year veteran who is in his second season with Green Bay, missed a pair of games in October because of a quad injury. He made his return against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday and wasn't his best, going 2-of-4 on field goals.
LaFleur didn't seem to be too bothered by the misses.
"Kickers miss kicks," he told reporters. "That's what I can tell you."
McManus was listed as a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.
McManus missed just one field goal on 21 attempts last year, but he hasn't found that kind of success so far this year. He's currently 9-of-13 on field goals, on pace for the worst season of his career. Three of his four misses have been between 40 and 49 yards.
Luckily for the Packers, his misses on Sunday didn't come back to bite them. Green Bay handled business 35-25 behind 360 passing yards and three touchdowns from Jordan Love.
When McManus was out, the Packers turned to Lucas Havrisik, who made all four of his field goal attempts, including one from 61 yards out. If McManus' quad injury keeps him out of this week's contest against the Carolina Panthers, the Packers can turn to Havrisik.
