Kyler Murray Preparing to Start for Cardinals vs. Cowboys amid Foot Injury Recovery
Arizona Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon revealed that the team is preparing Kyler Murray to start at quarterback against the Dallas Cowboys on Monday, per ESPN's Josh Weinfuss.
Murray has missed the Cardinals' past two games due to a foot injury, but appears to be on track towards returning following their Week 8 bye.
Jacoby Brissett has filled in as Arizona's starter, completing 65.0 percent of his throws for 599 yards and four touchdowns compared to one interception across his past two appearances. The Cardinals have gone 0-2 with Brissett under center, though.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Arizona sits at 2-5 on the season, currently riding a five-game losing streak after opening the year with a 2-0 record.
Murray wasn't able to exceed expectations before his absence, averaging a career-low 192.4 yards per game through the air despite completing 68.3 percent of his passes. He also tossed six touchdowns compared to three interceptions, picking up 173 yards and one score on the ground.
The two-time Pro Bowl passer's career has been impacted by injuries as of late. He's appeared in just 36 of a possible 51 games from 2022-24 due to a torn ACL that he suffered in Dec. 2022.
If Murray is able to return, he'll look to snap Arizona's losing streak against a Dallas defense that has struggled this year. The Cowboys are allowing 404.6 yards and 31.3 points per game this season, with both marks representing the second-worst averages in the NFL.
Kickoff between Arizona and Dallas on Monday is at 8:15 p.m. ET.
