Quinnen Williams Trade Calls Reportedly Not Being Entertained by Jets at NFL Deadline
New York Jets defensive tackle Quinnen Williams has received interest from "many teams" ahead of the Nov. 4 deadline, ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reported Wednesday.
According to Fowler, however, "the Jets are not entertaining deals for him unless it's a massive 'every player has a price' type of trade package."
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported Monday that Williams "had garnered plenty of interest" but that "it would take a huge offer" for the Jets to consider trading him.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value ๐
Williams, a former No. 3 pick who is coming off three straight Pro Bowl seasons, has one sack and a career-high three forced fumbles in eight games this season.
He has also recorded 19 pressures this season, good for 20th among all defensive linemen, per Pro Football Focus.
Williams is signed through 2027 after inking an extension with the Jets in 2023, although the deal includes a potential out after the 2026 season.
It's likely that deal will get reworked this offseason. Williams made $16.75 million in guaranteed salary this season, but he has just $5 million in guaranteed money remaining on the final two years, per Over the Cap.
The Athletic's Zack Rosenblatt reported Wednesday that the Jets are "not seriously entertaining" a potential deal, and "wouldn't even have a conversation about Williams unless a trade involved multiple first-round picks."
Williams' upcoming contract negotiations, however, could limit how many teams would be willing to put up premium draft capital in a potential offer.
SNY's Connor Hughes reported Monday that "one source believed a contending team might part with a first-round pick for Williams, but most pegged his value lower because of the need to restructure his deal."
Williams' long-term future with the Jets could potentially depend on how the defensive tackle feels about the direction of a franchise at risk of missing the playoffs for a 15th straight season following a 1-7 start to the campaign.
Rosenblatt wrote Wednesday there is "a sense" around the NFL that Williams "is tired of losing and there's a belief around the league that he's unhappy."
Given that reported sentiment and his upcoming contract negotiations, Williams could still be eyed by other teams as a potential trade candidate this offseason even if he stays on the Jets roster past the closing of the trade window next Tuesday at 4 p.m. ET.
