It wasn't the first time Ohtani gave a shoutout to Decoy with his clothing, as he wore a suit that featured pictures of his dog during the 2024 All-Star festivities.
Decoy has particularly gained popularity throughout the three-time MVP's tenure with the Dodgers, although he was also involved in the recruitment of Ohtani during his free agency in 2023.
Toronto was among the teams that courted Ohtani before he joined Los Angeles, with Blue Jays manager John Schneider joking about the gifts sent to the five-time All-Star and his dog on Thursday.
"I hope he brought the hat, the Blue Jays hat he took from our meeting," Schneider told reporters. "And the jacket for Decoy. Give us our stuff back."
Ohtani will be looking to help the Dodgers capture their second consecutive World Series title and cap off another stellar individual year.
He hit .282 with a career-high 55 home runs during the regular season, leading the National League by posting a 1.014 OPS. Ohtani amassed nine triples, 25 doubles and 102 RBI as well.
He also made his return to the mound for the first time since 2023, compiling a 2.87 ERA in 14 games while averaging 11.9 strikeouts per nine innings.
Ohtani wrapped up an incredible performance in the Dodgers' NLCS sweep of the Milwaukee Brewers, slashing .357/.500/1.143 in the series.
He racked up 10 strikeouts across six scoreless innings in Game 4 of the matchup with Milwaukee, hitting three home runs in the same contest before getting named NLCS MVP.
Game 1 of the 2025 World Series starts on Friday at 8 p.m. ET.
