Sophie Cunningham Eyes Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, Hypes Angel Reese Appearance
Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham wouldn't mind having her own chance to walk down the runway at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show after fellow WNBA star Angel Reese made her debut.
Cunningham said on her Show Me Something podcast that Reese "absolutely killed it" during last week's show. She added that she texted her agents in the hope of being in the event next year.
"This has been a dream of mine since I've been in like second grade," Cunningham said at the 21:54 mark. "I've always wanted to be a Victoria's Secret Angel."

Reese was the first professional athlete to receive the distinction, and she was joined by two-time Olympic gold medalist Suni Lee. The two-time WNBA All-Star turned heads with her poise in her modeling debut.
Cunningham's popularity exploded during the 2025 WNBA season, thanks in large part to her role as the perceived enforcer for Fever star Caitlin Clark.
During Indiana's 88-71 win over the Connecticut Sun in June, Cunningham committed a hard foul on Connecticut's Jacy Sheldon toward the end of the game. The teams had been physical all game, with Sheldon guarding Clark particularly closely.
That moment helped to give Cunningham a national profile. Los Angeles Lakers team governor Jeanie Buss said the door is open for the former Missouri star to sign with Women of Wrestling, the wrestling promotion Buss co-owns.
Should Cunningham have a big season in 2026, becoming a Victoria's Secret Angel might be an attainable dream.
