Logan Taylor NFL Draft 2026 Scouting Report for Los Angeles Chargers IOL

Brandon ThornNov 9, 2025

The Los Angeles Chargers selected Boston College IOL Logan Taylor with the No. 202 overall pick in the 2026 NFL draft.

Logan Taylor is a broad-framed, stout presence with proven versatility and mediocre movement skills who projects as a swing interior backup with spot starter upside across the line inside a run-first, play-action system.

Taylor is a 6'7", 314-pound offensive line prospect, who entered the Virginia program as a 4-star recruit in the 2021 class. He made 10 starts at tackle as a redshirt freshman in 2022 before transferring to Boston College before the '23 campaign.

Taylor started 46 career games at four different positions (19 at LT, 10 at LG, eight at RG and eight at RT), including 12 in 2025 as a team captain at right guard (eight), left tackle (three) and right tackle (one) for Boston College. The former Eagle participated in the 2026 Senior Bowl.

Where He Wins

2 of 5
COLLEGE FOOTBALL: DEC 28 Bad Boy Mowers Pinstripe Bowl - Boston College vs Nebraska

— Broad frame with a thick, well-rounded build, good arm length and large hands.

— Sturdy presence at the point of attack with good power to create displacement during base, down and kick-out blocks.

— Plays with a flat-back posture and patient hands in pass protection to stay inside-out against stutters and set-up moves.

— Delivers a tight, jarring punch with a potent double-under technique to create lift in his anchor.

Areas of Improvement

3 of 5
COLLEGE FOOTBALL: OCT 18 UConn at Boston College

— Average athletic ability with an upright playing style.

— Base will widen when bull-rushed, leaving Taylor vulnerable to getting overextended by the push-pull technique.

— Middling lateral quickness leaves him tardy to redirect and widen defenders off his edges.
