Jordan Love Dishes on 'Great' Aaron Rodgers Relationship Ahead of Packers-Steelers
All eyes will be on the showdown between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Green Bay Packers on Sunday since Aaron Rodgers is facing his former team, but the current Packers quarterback had nothing but positive things to say about his old teammate.
"Aaron was great," Jordan Love told reporters Wednesday when talking about Rodgers' time in Green Bay. "… Coming into it, I didn't know what to expect. But Aaron was great to me all three years. And everybody who has been in that quarterback room with us during my time has been great. There's been no issues, it's been a great room to be a part of."

Love also said he and Rodgers still talk and wish each other luck at times given their "great relationship."
The comments echoed those Love made during a September appearance on The Rich Eisen Show (6:23 mark).
"Me and A-Rod chatted a little bit before the season … just saying good luck to each other," he said. "I definitely want to get that jersey after we play the Steelers. I'm excited to go up against him. … I love A-Rod, got a lot of love and respect for him."
The dynamic between Rodgers and Love has always been something of a storyline seeing how the former was still one of the best quarterbacks in the league when the Packers selected the latter in the first round of the 2020 NFL draft.
It may have seemed like Green Bay was moving on from the veteran at that point, but they remained teammates for three years. If it was an awkward situation, Rodgers didn't let it negatively impact his play on the field.
In fact, all he did in Love's first two seasons in the league was win back-to-back MVP awards to further solidify his spot atop the depth chart.
That stretch was part of a legendary Packers tenure for Rodgers, who played with Green Bay for 18 seasons and took home four MVPs and one Lombardi Trophy. He will forever be a franchise legend even if the team eventually turned the quarterback role over to Love.
Sunday's game would be even more notable if it was in Green Bay since that would have meant Rodgers returning to the place where he found his football fame, but it is still a high-profile battle between two teams with playoff aspirations.
Green Bay is 4-1-1 and in first place in the NFC North, while Pittsburgh is in first place in the AFC North at 4-2. The winner will have plenty of momentum moving forward into the middle portion of the season and will also have some bragging rights in a clash of former teammates.
