Jannik Sinner Makes History Winning $6M Six Kings Slam Tournament Bracket over Alcaraz

Andrew PetersOct 18, 2025

Jannik Sinner is once again the Six Kings Slam Tournament champion after his win over Carlos Alcaraz in straight sets on Saturday.

The win marks back-to-back Six Kings Slam titles for Sinner, as he also beat Alcaraz in the first edition of the event last year.

The win earned Sinner a historic $6 million cash prize. Each player made $1.5 million just for appearing in the event, and a win added $4.5 million to that total.

The Six Kings Slam brought some of the best tennis players in the world together, but a meeting between Sinner and Alcaraz in the final seemed inevitable.

Sinner beat Stefanos Tsitsipas in the quarterfinal before besting Novak Djokovic in the semifinal on Thursday. Alcaraz got a bye in the quarterfinals and took down Taylor Fritz in the semifinal.

Unlike some of their previous meetings, Saturday's final between Sinner and Alcaraz didn't have too much back and forth as Sinner was in control for most of the day.

Alcaraz got the best of Sinner last month when he defeated him to win the US Open, so Sinner came in hoping for revenge, even though it was just an exhibition game.

"It's great to have rivals. We have a great rivalry," Sinner said after the win. "But we also have a special friendship."

For Alcaraz, the loss gives him some motivation heading into next season.

"Sometimes it seems like he's playing ping pong," Alcaraz said. "It's not fun, to be honest, being on the other side of the net. I always say, when he plays such great tennis, it gives me motivation just to then go to the practice court, give 100 percent, try to be better."

The win adds to what has been a spectacular year for Sinner. He started 2025 off with a win at the Australian Open before reaching the French Open final, where he lost to the Alcaraz. Sinner then won at Wimbledon for the first time in his career and reached the US Open final in September.

Saturday's win doesn't carry that same weight as a grand slam event, but he's more than okay taking home his $6 million prize.
