Week 7 Start 'Em, Sit 'Em Fantasy Football Lineup Advice for Sunday

Kristopher KnoxOct 18, 2025

If you're a fantasy football manager who is agonizing over your remaining Week 7 lineup decisions, you're probably not alone. Injuries have left several managers without top stars, and bye weeks are taking even more out of the equation.

Only two teams are off in Week 7, but they're the Baltimore Ravens and Buffalo Bills—teams chock full of early fantasy draft selections.

As is usually the case this time of year, managers will be looking to play the matchups with streamers and second-tier starters. Here, you'll find some start/sit recommendations for Sunday's slate based on point-per-reception (PPR) scoring.

Start: J.K. Dobbins, RB, Denver Broncos

1 of 4
Bengals Broncos Football

When the Denver Broncos went to London in Week 6, they forgot to bring their offense along. We're being hyperbolic, of course, but Denver certainly didn't shine against the New York Jets.

The Broncos mustered just 246 yards and 13 points, while running back J.K. Dobbins was held to just 40 rushing yards.

Denver will be back home in Week 7, and Dobbins is poised for a bounce-back game. The visiting New York Giants have surrendered seven rushing touchdowns and an average of 19.8 fantasy points to opposing backfields this season.

Dobbins has seen no fewer than 14 carries in a game this season and should remain a high-volume player against New York. He's averaged just under 78 scrimmage yards per game this season and should match that in Week 7.

Sit: Zonovan Knight, RB, Arizona Cardinals

2 of 4
Titans Cardinals Football

The Arizona Cardinals are currently down their top two running backs. Trey Benson is on injured reserve but is expected to return this season. James Conner is out for the year.

Zonovan Knight led the Cardinals with 11 carries in Week 6 and also found the end zone. Unsurprisingly, he was a popular waiver wire add this week. Managers, though, shouldn't be eager to thrust him into their starting lineups.

While Knight led Arizona in carries last week, Michael Carter led Cardinals backs in receptions, while Emari Demercado was also in the mix. Knight played just 50.7 percent of the offensive snaps, which is not an alluring workload.

Knight doesn't have an attractive matchup this week either. The visiting Green Bay Packers have surrendered the fourth-fewest fantasy points to opposing running backs this season.

Start: Ladd McConkey, WR, Los Angeles Chargers

3 of 4
Chargers Dolphins Football

Quentin Johnston missed Week 6 with a hamstring injury, which helped open the door for Ladd McConkey's best game of the season. The 2024 breakout rookie star has often disappointed as a sophomore, due to Johnston's emergence and the return of Keenan Allen.

While Johnston appears likely to return this week, managers shouldn't be quick to put McConkey back on the bench. Last week's seven-catch, 100-yard game reminded Justin Herbert what sort of a weapon McConkey can be—and it's not as if Herbert hasn't been trying to get him the ball.

McConkey has been targeted seven or more times in three of his last four games.

This week, L.A. will host the Indianapolis Colts, a high-scoring team that has surrendered the fifth-most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers. With the Chargers' top two running backs still out, McConkey should see a huge role in the game plan.

Sit: Jauan Jennings, WR, San Francisco 49ers

4 of 4
49ers Buccaneers Football

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings said he's playing through multiple injuries, and he looked like it in Week 6. He was targeted three times but finished with just one seven-yard reception.

Even if Jennings is a tick healthier this week, he's unlikely to see a big jump in production. Mac Jones is likely to start at quarterback again, and he has clearly established chemistry with Kendrick Bourne.

It also looks like star tight end George Kittle could return this week, which would further diminish Jennings' role—assuming he's even healthy enough to have one.

On top of everything else, the 49ers will host an ascending Atlanta Falcons defense, which has surrendered the sixth-fewest fantasy points to opposing receivers. Jennings can be sat this week, and he's getting close to being droppable.
