B/R's Week 6 PPR Fantasy Football 2025 Player Rankings
It's Week 6 of the 2025 NFL campaign, and we are into the meat of the fantasy football season.
For a fortunate few, their teams are 4-1 or even 5-0, thanks to stars such as Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor and Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua.
Whatever your situation, we're here to ensure your fantasy team does well in Week 6, with position-by-position PPR rankings, breakout and bust candidates, sleeper picks, and top overall flex options.
Quarterbacks
1 of 6.jpg)
The story of the first five weeks of the 2025 NFL season at quarterback has been injuries.
A handful of starters will either sit in Week 6 or have missed time, including a pair of elite fantasy options in Lamar Jackson and Jayden Daniels.
Other than those injuries, the quarterback rankings are not surprising. Dak Prescott (Dallas Cowboys, QB5) and Drake Maye (New England Patriots, QB7) rank higher than some expected, but both were promoted as value picks during the summer.
Week 6 Quarterback Rankings
Players to Watch in Week 6
Justin Herbert, Los Angeles Chargers (at MIA) [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,300]
Herbert's fantasy numbers have been so-so this season, but that could change moving forward. With Omarion Hampton out at least a month, the Chargers have little choice but to adopt a more pass-heavy approach offensively.
Matthew Stafford, Los Angeles Rams (at BAL) [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,400]
Stafford has been a solid fantasy starter under center—he's sixth in fantasy points among quarterbacks after five games. The veteran will keep rolling Sunday in Baltimore, as the Ravens struggle to defend the pass.
Players to Avoid in Week 6
Daniel Jones, Indianapolis Colts (vs. ARI) [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,000]
There hasn't been a more pleasant surprise this season at quarterback than Daniel Jones and the 4-1 Colts. But the Redbirds have been stingy to opposing quarterbacks, allowing the fifth-fewest fantasy points per game to quarterbacks.
Kyler Murray, Arizona Cardinals (at IND) [DraftKings DFS Value: $5,700]
Murray's fantasy production has been underwhelming this year, and he ranks outside the top 15 in fantasy points among quarterbacks. Throw in an injured foot and a bad fantasy matchup, and he is a "pass" in Week 6.
Week 6 Sleeper
Bryce Young, Carolina Panthers (vs. DAL) [DraftKings DFS Value: $4,800]
Young's fantasy numbers have been pedestrian this season outside one big outing in Week 2 against the Arizona Cardinals. But no team has surrendered more fantasy points per game to QBs this year than the Cowboys.
Running Backs
2 of 6.jpg)
The good news for fantasy managers who spent an early pick on Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley is that he's a top-10 fantasy option five weeks into the 2025 campaign.
Also, the knee injury that landed him on the injury report ahead of Thursday's tilt with the New York Giants isn't expected to affect his Week 6 eligibility.
The bad news is that the drop-off in production from Barkley some predicted in 2025 may be coming to pass. He has had more than 60 rushing yards in a game just once this year, and the 28-year-old is averaging just 3.2 yards per carry.
If the touchdowns dry up and the yardage trend continues, trouble could be brewing.
Week 6 RB Rankings
Players to Watch in Week 6
Josh Jacobs, Green Bay Packers (vs. CIN) [DraftKings DFS Value: $7,300]
Jacobs has found the end zone four times in as many games, but he's averaging a career-low 3.3 yards per carry. Look for him to get going coming out of the bye against a Bengals defense allowing 132.2 yards per game on the ground.
Ashton Jeanty, Las Vegas Raiders (vs. TEN) [DraftKings DFS Value : $6,900]
Like just about everything else in Las Vegas this year, Jeanty's first five games have been mostly forgettable. It's past time the Raiders got him going, and only two NFL teams have allowed more rushing yards per game in 2025 than the Titans.
Players to Avoid in Week 6
Chase Brown, Cincinnati Bengals (at GB) [DraftKings DFS Value: $5,600]
Brown's 2025 season, much like the Bengals as a team, has been a disaster. He hasn't had 50 rushing yards in a game this year and is averaging a woeful 2.5 yards per carry. He's not startable, especially in a bad matchup for running backs.
Derrick Henry, Baltimore Ravens (vs. LAR) [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,200]
Henry salvaged an OK fantasy day last week with a rushing touchdown, but 15 carries for 33 yards is indicative of just how out of sorts the Ravens offense is. The Rams have allowed the third-fewest PPR points per game to running backs this year.
Week 6 Sleeper
Kimani Vidal, Los Angeles Chargers (at MIA) [DraftKings DFS Value: $5,000]
With Omarion Hampton and Najee Harris both on injured reserve, Vidal is ostensibly the next man up for the Chargers—at least on early downs. The Dolphins are giving up 174.2 yards per game on the ground, the most in the NFL.
Wide Receivers
3 of 6.jpg)
Over the first month of the season, Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase had one monstrous game—and a trio of clunkers.
However, he got back on the fantasy horse in garbage time of Sunday's loss to the Detroit Lions, catching six passes for 110 yards and two scores.
That explosion was enough to get Chase back inside the top-10 fantasy receivers for the season, but it also begs a question.
With the Cincinnati offense in disarray, is the first overall pick in many fantasy drafts this summer a "sell high?" And if Chase is, can managers get any kind of real value for the 25-year-old?
Sadly, the answer to that second question is probably no.
Week 6 Wide Receiver Rankings
Players to Watch in Week 6
Davante Adams. Los Angeles Rams (at BAL) [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,700]
This is going to be a running theme the rest of the season. The Ravens secondary was terrible before injuries ravaged the back end of the defense. No team in the AFC is allowing more passing yards per game or PPR points per game to wide receivers.
A.J. Brown, Philadelphia Eagles (at NYG) [DraftKings DFS Value: $5,700]
This is where we're at with Brown—a DFS salary well under $6,000. But a "squeaky wheel" game is coming. It's just a matter of time, and the Giants have given up the third-most PPR points per game to wide receivers this year.
Players to Avoid in Week 6
Keon Coleman, Buffalo Bills (at ATL) [DraftKings DFS Value: $5,300]
Coleman bailed out fantasy managers last week with a short touchdown catch, but he was benched to start that loss to the New England Patriots and hasn't had more than 45 receiving yards in a game since Week 1.
Garrett Wilson, New York Jets (vs. DEN) [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,300]
Wilson is the only reliable passing-game weapon the Jets have. But that all but certainly means a lot of 2024 NFL Defensive Player of the Year Patrick Surtain II of the Broncos in coverage in London.
Week 6 Sleeper
Jerry Jeudy, Cleveland Browns (at PIT) [DraftKings DFS Value: $4,500]
Jeudy has been invisible for most of the season, with just 15 catches and less than 200 yards for the season. The Browns have to get some sort of downfield passing game going though, and the Pittsburgh secondary can be thrown on.
Tight Ends
4 of 6.jpg)
Before the season, just about every fantasy pundit predicted Dallas Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson would be the No. 1 fantasy tight end after five weeks by a wide margin.
Except they didn't.
Ferguson's 48 targets are the most at the position. His 41 catches are 12 more than any other TE in the league. He's fourth in receiving yards among tight ends with 272.
And after a two-touchdown outing against the New York Jets in Week 5, only A.J. Barner of the Seattle Seahawks and Dallas Goedert of the Philadelphia Eagles have more touchdown catches.
There are a couple more household names at the position.
Week 6 Tight End Rankings
Players to Watch in Week 6
Hunter Henry, New England Patriots (at NO) [DraftKings DFS Value: $4,300]
Henry was mostly a non-factor in last week's big win in Buffalo with two catches for 46 yards on four targets. He'll get back after it this week against a Saints team surrendering the sixth-most PPR points per game to tight ends in 2025.
Tucker Kraft, Green Bay Packers (vs. CIN) [DraftKings DFS Value: $4,700]
Kraft has cooled a little since exploding for six catches for 124 yards and a touchdown in Week 2, but the Bengals will help him get back on track. No team is allowing more PPR points to tight ends this season than Cincinnati.
Players to Avoid in Week 6
Dallas Goedert, Philadelphia Eagles (at NYG) [DraftKings DFS Value: $4,000]
Goedert's 15 catches for 133 yards aren't impressive, but the veteran tight end has four touchdown grabs. He'll get nothing and like it Thursday night against a Giants team giving up the ninth-fewest PPR points per game to tight ends this year.
Darren Waller, Miami Dolphins (vs. LAC) [DraftKings DFS Value: $4,000]
Waller has been a force over his two games with the Dolphins with eight catches for 105 yards and three scores. But he'll come back to earth in Week 6 in a bottom-five fantasy matchup for TEs with the Chargers.
Week 6 Sleeper
Juwan Johnson, New Orleans Saints (vs. NE) [DraftKings DFS Value: $3,300]
Johnson started the season hot, but he has just five receptions for 45 yards over the last two games combined. With a top-five fantasy matchup for tight ends looming with the New England Patriots, though, it's bounce-back time.
Team Defenses and Kickers
5 of 6.jpg)
Team defenses are notoriously unpredictable from year to year, which is why savvy fantasy managers stream the position based on matchups.
And five weeks into the season, the leaderboard at the position shows that living the stream is the only way to fly.
Of the top-five team defenses, three hail from the AFC South—the takeaway-happy Jacksonville Jaguars at No. 1, the Indianapolis Colts at No. 2 and the Houston Texans at No. 5. The other two units? A Minnesota Vikings team that has one big stat line in five weeks and the Seattle Seahawks.
The Jaguars were the last team defense drafted on average this year.
Week 6 Team Defense Rankings
Week 6 Kicker Rankings
Players to Watch in Week 6
Green Bay Packers Defense (vs. CIN) [DraftKings DFS Value: $3,700]
This is going to go one of two ways, and both are good for the Green Bay defense. Either Jake Browning will be under center for the Bengals, or Joe Flacco will be—less than a week after joining the team.
Wil Lutz, Denver Broncos (at NYJ)
The Jets are the NFL's only winless team. They rank 22nd in yards allowed per game and 31st in points allowed per game. And no team in the league is surrendering more fantasy points per game to kickers.
Players to Avoid in Week 6
Seattle Seahawks Defense (at JAX) [DraftKings DFS Value: $2,700]
The Seahawks are coming off a rough outing in last week's shootout loss to Tampa Bay, and now they make the long trip from the Northwest to the Southeast for a 1 p.m. start against a red-hot Jaguars team (it feels weird to type that).
Jason Myers, Seattle Seahawks (at JAX)
Myers has been solid for fantasy managers this season, and he's fifth at the position in fantasy points after five weeks. But only the Houston Texans have given up fewer fantasy points per game to kickers than the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Week 6 Sleeper
Tennessee Titans Defense (at LV) [DraftKings DFS Value: $2,400]
Frankly, a fantasy manager has to be straddling the line between brave and stupid to start either of these defenses in this game. But both the Raiders and Titans rank inside the top-three in fantasy points per game surrendered to team defenses in 2025.
Overall Player Rankings
6 of 6.jpg)
These overall rankings for Week 6 can be of assistance to fantasy managers in making flex lineup decisions, It does not, however, contain quarterbacks.
If your league has a superflex spot and your QB2 is healthy and not terrible, he should go in that spot.
The byes roll on this week, but just for two teams: the Minnesota Vikings and Houston Texans. So, there's no Justin Jefferson or Nico Collins in Week 6.
This week's tip is a variation of almost every other week's: relax. If your team is 1-4 or 0-5, then you're probably cooked. But if you're 2-3 or better, you're in the mix and that should be your primary goal.
Keep trying to improve the roster, but know there's still a long way to go before the regular season ends. Much can (and will) change.
