Lamar Jackson Out For Week 5

The Ravens will not have Lamar Jackson for Sunday's meeting with the Texans.

Jackson suffered a hamstring injury that forced him out of the end of the Week 4 loss to the Chiefs. He did not practice all week.

Cooper Rush will take over at quarterback on Sunday against a Texans defense that hasn't allowed over 225 passing yards in a single game this season.

The fantasy stocks of Zay Flowers, Mark Andrews and the rest of the Ravens' top pass-catchers will take a hit with Rush at quarterback in this specific matchup.

Derrick Henry will likely play an even bigger role for the Ravens with Rush as the starter.

The fantasy football waiver wire is thing at quarterback in Week 5 with Aaron Rodgers, Michael Penix Jr. and Caleb Williams all on byes.

Jaxson Dart should be a popular replacement for Jackson given his matchup with the New Orleans Saints. Sam Darnold is worth a look at home against Tampa Bay. Justin Fields could even be a viable fantasy starter in Week 5 due to his matchup with the wretched Cowboys defense.

Bucky Irving Out For Tampa Bay's Trip to Seattle

The Buccaneers will short-handed in Seattle on Sunday without Bucky Irving and Mike Evans.

Rachaad White is the natural replacement for Irving. He could a better replacement in points-per-reception leagues.

Irving currently leads the Bucs with 19 receptions and 19 targets. White should pick up the load in the passing game, but he might struggle against a Seattle defense that held its last three opponents under 100 rushing yards.

Arizona's Michael Carter is a deep-sleeper candidate with Trey Benson and James Conner both out. The Cardinals have a favorable matchup versus the Tennessee Titans.

Houston's Woody Marks, New England's Tre'Veyon Henderson and Denver's RJ Harvey all featured in expanded roles recently. One of them could be an ideal replacement for Irving in Week 5.
