Week 5 Fantasy Football Rankings with Each Position's Flex and PPR Projections
The fantasy football picture continues to be a murky one during the 2025 NFL season. Injuries have impacted the landscape at an alarming rate, and managers are still waiting for some stars to break out of an early-season funk.
Brian Thomas Jr., Jerry Jeudy and Ladd McConkey really did shine in fantasy last season. We promise.
With bye weeks now entering the equation, most managers can't simply start their biggest stars across the board. We're here to help, though, with point-per-reception projections for the week's top remaining flex plays and a few sleeper suggestions.

Sleeper: Kendre Miller, New Orleans Saints
Finding viable running back options on the waiver wire has been extremely difficult this year. Houston Texans rookie Woody Marks looks like a potential star, but he was heavily targeted on the wire this week.
Marks is rostered in 74 percent of Yahoo leagues and 28 percent of ESPN leagues. If he's available in your league, he's worth scooping up immediately.
New Orleans Saints running back Kendre Miller is more of a deep sleeper, but he could have some flex value in larger leagues. He's not going to steal much of Alvin Kamara's receiving work, but he can have a role in New Orleans' ground game.
Miller logged 11 carries for 65 yards and a touchdown against the Buffalo Bills in Week 4. This week, he'll face a New York Giants defense that has surrendered the fifth-most fantasy points to opposing running backs this season.
Wide Receiver

- Tee Higgins, Cincinnati Bengals: 12.5 points
Sleeper: Marquise Brown, Kansas City Chiefs
The return of Xavier Worthy in Week 4 had a positive impact on the Kansas City Chiefs' offense, which produced a season-high 37 points. With Worthy back in the fold, Marquise Brown has reentered sleeper territory.
Brown is rostered in 63 percent of ESPN leagues but only 48 percent of Yahoo leagues.
While Brown had a whopping 10 receptions in Week 1, he's logged just 12 in the three weeks since. Worthy's return, though, hasn't pushed Brown out of the game plan. He's seen at least five targets in every game this year and caught three passes for 38 yards and a touchdown in Week 4.
Brown should maintain a consistent target share, at least until Rashee Rice is eligible to return from suspension after Week 6.
On Monday night, the Chiefs will visit the Jacksonville Jaguars, who have been good-not-great against opposing receivers. Jacksonville has surrendered the 15th-most fantasy points to the WR position this season.
Tight End

- Trey McBride, Arizona Cardinals: 13.7 points
- Tyler Warren, Indianapolis Colts: 13.5 points
- Brock Bowers, Las Vegas Raiders: 13 points
- Hunter Henry, New England Patriots: 12.7 points
- Sam LaPorta, Detroit Lions: 12.5 points
- Jake Ferguson, Dallas Cowboys: 12.2 points
- Juwan Johnson, New Orleans Saints: 12.1 points
- Dalton Kincaid, Buffalo Bills: 12 points
- T.J. Hockenson, Minnesota Vikings: 11.5 points
- Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs: 11.4 points
- Dallas Goedert, Philadelphia Eagles: 11.2 points
- Brenton Strange, Jacksonville Jaguars: 11.1 points
- Zach Ertz, Washington Commanders: 11 points
- Harold Fannin Jr., Cleveland Browns: 10.7 points
- Mark Andrews, Baltimore Ravens: 10.5 points
Sleeper: Mason Taylor, New York Jets
Indianapolis Colts rookie Tyler Warren became an immediate fantasy star, but few other rookie first-year tight ends have generated a lot of buzz—Harold Fannin Jr. being the surprising exception.
However, New York Jets rookie Mason Taylor started to make some noise in Week 4. The LSU product was targeted seven times against the Miami Dolphins and finished with five receptions for 65 yards.
The Jets have been desperate to find a reliable second receiving option behind Garrett Wilson. Taylor, who is already tied for second on the team (with Breece Hall) in receiving yards, could be Justin Fields' No. 2 target.
This week, the Jets will host a Dallas Cowboys team that has already surrendered 1,189 passing yards and 10 passing touchdowns. Taylor is still available in over 90 percent of Yahoo and ESPN leagues.
