Former Titans GM Shades Team's Struggles, References Cam Ward's 'We Ass' Comment
Former Tennessee Titans general manager Jon Robinson picked an unusual moment to shade the team amid their 0-4 start this season.
In a post on Instagram wishing his wife a happy birthday, Robinson also use it as an excuse to sarcastically say "I guess it's still MY fault" and referenced Cam Ward's "we ass" comment made following Sunday's loss to the Houston Texans.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Ward told reporters after the Titans were shutout 26-0 that "we ass" when asked about how the offense was playing so far this season.
Even if Robinson still feels salty about the Titans' decision to fire him as general manager in December 2022, the decision to take a victory lap is questionable at best.
It's even worse considering the vast number of misses, particularly in the draft, Robinson had in his final three years with the Titans. His last three first-round picks—Isaiah Wilson, Caleb Farley, Treylon Burks—combined to play 40 games for the Titans. Burks was eventually waived in July with an injury designation after hurting his shoulder in a preseason practice.
That doesn't even include the decision to make a lowball offer to A.J. Brown after the 2021 season that resulted in him cutting off contact with the organization, leading to Robinson trading him to the Philadelphia Eagles for the draft pick that would be used for Burks.
In fairness to Robinson, who worked for the team from 2016 to '22, the start of his tenure did coincide with a boom period for the organization. They had six consecutive winning seasons from 2016 to '21, made the playoffs four times, won two division titles and reached the AFC Championship Game during the 2019 season.
Since Robinson's firing, the Titans haven't stopped the skid, nor have they looked like a model of stability. Ran Carthon, who was hired as GM in January 2023, was fired in January.
Mike Borgonzi is Tennessee's fourth different general manager since 2016 if you include Ryan Cowden's interim stint at the end of the 2022 season following Robinson's firing.
The Titans are one of three winless teams remaining in the NFL entering Week 5. They have lost 10 straight games dating back to Week 13 last season, with six of those games decided by at least nine points.
