Tyreek Hill Says 'Surgery Went Great' After Season-Ending Knee Injury in Dolphins-Jets
Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill said Wednesday on social media that surgery to treat the season-ending knee injury he suffered in Monday's Week 5 win over the New York Jets "went great."
Hill also shared a video from the hospital Tuesday in which he thanked fans for their prayers.

Hill suffered a dislocated knee alongside a torn ACL and multiple other torn ligaments after a tackle in Monday's third quarter, per ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Agent Drew Rosenhaus told Schefter Tuesday that Hill's surgery "went very well according to his doctor," and that Hill plans to play during the 2026 NFL season.
"It's about rehab and he will play next season. The realistic goal is the start of the season," Rosenhaus said in a statement provided to Schefter.
Rosenhaus also told Josh Moser of Miami's WSVN-TV that "all of the torn ligaments, the injuries, went back into place naturally."
"There's no nerve damage, no blood-flow issues, no broken bones. The cartilage is fine," Rosenhaus told Moser.
Rosenhaus added, "It's only one surgical procedure. There was some concern that it might be more than one surgery, but right now, everything went as well as we could've hoped for."
Hill's left leg was bent at an gruesome angle when he went down after making a catch early in the third quarter. He was then put in an air cast, after which he smiled and waved to fans as he was carted off the field.
"He was probably in the best spirits of any player that I've ever— it's such a terrible experience and see guys when they have issues like that, but he immediately had wide eyes and was talking, 'I'm good, just make sure the guys get this win,'" Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel said after the win.
McDaniel then told reporters the next day that Hill had been hospitalized overnight and would undergo surgery the next day.
Hill had missed just one game over three prior seasons with Miami. The eight-time Pro Bowler was in pursuit of a bounce-back campaign this fall after recording fewer than 1,000 receiving yards in 2024 for the first time in five seasons.
He had made 21 total catches on 29 targets for 265 receiving yards with one touchdown prior to exiting Monday's game.
Since 2022 only the New York Giants' Malik Nabers, Phialdelphia Eagles' A.J. Brown and Los Angeles Rams' Davante Adams have recorded a higher target share with their respective teams than Hill has with the Dolphins, per ClutchPoints' Colby Guy.
Wide receiver Jaylen Waddle and tight end Darren Waller are in line to receive more targets as Tua Tagovailoa looks to rework his passing game starting with Sunday's Week 6 matchup against the Carolina Panthers.
